Meh, yet another thing they're putting in between ShokoXHaruto, after the gajilion things they have done during the series, it seems they are trying a wee bit too hard. But now that they are FINALLY getting to truly understand each other? Seems rather fishy to me that they're setting up SOMETHING, and it's certainly not impossible, though I can imagine the uproar will be probably be loud if it does happen.

Like I'm not worried about Shoko since her plot armor is thicker than the rest of the cast combined, but Haruto seems headed to be yet another Mari Mk II martyr. We'll see what they'll pull off, since the next episode seems to be the series finale.

Akira wanted to smash her with her Valvrave: Shoko burned that bridge. Box art for season two: Akira's beloved doll is on L-Elf's shoulder and she's leaning and holding unto Saki, not on Shoko.

She's barely met Shoko, and she could have grown close to the Prince's parents, why would they have to be related to Shoko at all? They have set how they drifted away since she arrived. Shoko ignored her completely and Akira didn't like that at all.

I don't think the point of the show revolves around Haruto x Shoko
What happened to Saki, Lieselotte, Marie, even Kyuma is not to just to ship Haruto x Shoko

Yes, the point of the show is revealing the truth to the world and the main relationship is L-Elf and Haruto. The, in official punchline, "encounter that will change everything." Shoko was just a way for Haruto to understand Lieselotte and thus L-Elf feelings so they can team up. She's completely thrown away now aside of providing Haruto more character angst to show his resolve.

Interesting you bring that boxart up

Initially I had the impression that Shoko would step down as PM and that boxart clothing would be her civilian clothing

And I wonder if everyone that is faded in the background will die. I think A-Drei has a bit of joke character immunity, and he has his own spinoff PoV (are they really going to kill him twice?)

She's technically a civilian because she doesn't have a country anymore.

Marie's in front and she died. I don't think that has to do with anything. Both Thunder and Kyuuma had massive death flags the episodes before they died. I suppose Marie and H-neun were more surprising. I can see X-eins and Q-vier dying, but after A-drei's declaration, I think he's going to live and put in order Dorssian territory.

in all season 2 promotion Shoko seem not important anymore most of the promotion is all about L-elf and Valvrave pilots...even dorrsia boyband is more relevant than Shoko...

Ep 22 left me raging but L-elf slicing the Fuhrer in front of live TV made up for that. I have to admit I'm disappointed in Shouko's reactions to the recent events, especially how she still turned Haruto and his group away. She's very much changed from S1's Shouko, and not in a good way. Turns out Haruto was the person with whom Saki made the promise, I was quite relieved that it wasn't someone else.

And RIP Thunder, you went out with a bang. Can't wait for the final battle next episode - glad I picked up this series from the start, VVV has been a great ride.

Well, yes. They can kill the most popular character and the one who seems necessary to build and Empire for the sake of two of the most hated characters the Japanese fanbase is counting on the days to see them offed who aren't necessary (Haruto can be replaced -Satomi's already wearing red and yellow colors in the future-and Shoko has no use now, she's just there as angst plot device) if they'd like to get their orders cancelled (also by the way, the bodies they jack aren't immortal. If Haruto bodies "dies", L-Elf body wouldn't survive in the least. Re-watch the first episode, the bite he gave to the ARUS people and L-Elf's wounds never healed).

Or they can have L-Elf rule this place since he's the main who keeps things from crumbling since he promised to build this place and expects a long fight, give Haruto at least some nice heroic send off that wouldn't make the fans hate him more (or coma amnesia for the next centuries if they want to keep Saki happy) and give Shoko the punishment for her actions by having Q-vier shoot her shuttle or live a miserable life as L-Elf's chef and get actual sales.

Depends if they hate money or not.

I just think Haruto's body is going to be destroyed, but he wouldn't bodyjack. He's going to take Pino's place as the Valvrave engine, turning the 'curse' into a 'blessing'.

doubt it... if he is to die... it's more likely while he is himself or in his own body...
regardless of the valvrave... didn't Haruto mentioned he's gonna end it with him?
there's still an issue about Saki usin runes on Carmilla in the flash forward...
just how can they do it in one episode?
unless they're going for a one hour special...

Is it me or are people just missing a scene or 2? Everyone still complaining about shoko being a bitch miss the point that she did it for the students, she already knew the truth and now has faith in haruto.heck even it was blatantly said by haruto, "sometimes you have to put a brave face".

Because everybody seems to believe a character is not suppose to have emotions or have flaws in any way during stressful situations, specially when she has so many lives that are depending on her. I am honestly getting tired of all the Shoko hate and she is not even my favorite character.

And for the record Akira will forgive Shoko once she realizes that she is just putting up a front, her and shoko are holding hands in the boxart and Akira has grown a lot as a character, and it was thanks to Shoko for bringing her out of her shell AND saving her life back in S1

very true indeed, but people should at least try to understand the amount of turmoil she is going through instead of jumping on the hate wagon
