@calubin_175 Yup, MLA is one of the few animes that has the plot using old mecha models not because they are better or has some gimmick that the new models don't have, but because the world setting is that they have no choice. Gundam's and whatnot only tend to bring out the old suits for comedy purposes with an old pilot 'that still gotz it' (Zeta, Double Zeta) (Unicorn did have the Zeon bring out the OYW suits because of lack of resources as well though, which I applaud), or when civilization gets nuked to steam power, so it becomes lost tech (Turn A).
@Fireminer I have nothing to say on Fanfiction. About the Volks A3 Mig-23, if you have at least a hundred USD you can try to get it from YJA through a proxy. It would cost about that much including shipping.

Currently MiG-23 and 27 are only in A3 garage kit form. The only garage kits from the latest release that I have seen in the resale market(outside of auction) are Shiranui 2nd Phase 1 and MiG-21. It appears that the other 3 maybe more popular.
For folks who own the Memorial Artbooks, do they include any new info on the worldview given that the Alternative one was only released after the PS3 release? In addition, do they include any character lineart(not sprites) such as the ones below found in a Muv Luv pre-release book? http://azarashido.sakura.ne.jp/20100513/sCIMG8830.jpg http://azarashido.sakura.ne.jp/20100513/sCIMG8831.jpg http://azarashido.sakura.ne.jp/20100513/sCIMG8832.jpg http://azarashido.sakura.ne.jp/20100513/sCIMG8834.jpg |

Pinky finger size at most---maybe. The 1/144 Tank-class BETA are about as long as my thumb and just half again as thick. I'm still annoyed that I don't have enough parts to complete that Grappler-class BETA.
I'm still sticking to 1/144 at the moment due to common scale with 1/144 Gunpla and the fact they're cheaper. But I also hope that Koto keeps churning out both non-scale and 1/144 TSF kits and that there's (hopefully) some technology transfer between the two so that later models would have more posability and detail.
