Very disturbing 14th episode. Started all fabulously and ended utter creepily .__.

And as Kazu said, there are high chances this isn't

yuri. Since there is something "abnormal" with Yuri's body and the only part we don't see is her lower waist part, she could be/most probably is an hermaphrodite.
More than the physical revelation, I'm more taken aback by her complete craziness. To want to meet with someone dead long ago is one thing, raping (she also says she wants to hurt/destroy her) is a complete different and sick thing.
I'm also hoping for a cliffhanger, but in the middle of nowhere, anything interrupting would come out as easy and cheap trick :/

About the rest of the cast : minus point for

-Kanba: who refuses to deal with reality again. "I'm trying to preserve my dear family", you don't fool anyone boy, seriously.
-Shouma: for acting like a stupid brat. What was the point to reject Ringo like this? If you want to redeem yourself for what your parents did, at least don't hurt that poor girl by treating her like that!!
-Natsume: still desperately in love. Nothing good will come out of it, move on please.
-Himari: pouting when you just came back, miraculously, to life! Again! Isn't it time to push your doubts aside?
-Sanetoshi: for being evil.
-Ringo: --- you've been too naive, but can't actually blame you for this u.u''

At least I'm glad I was right about the scarfs. What Himari asked Kanba back in episode 10 was what things he received from a girl and he liked. Emphasis was on who gives it, not the receiving end. Hopefully she gives them those scarfs and they can finally reconnect. I guess it won't happen before the very last episode. In the epilogue maybe. Would be a nice way to end things on a positive note.

Kanba surviving episode 5 and Shouma episode 8, both with just minor injures, were also "cheap tricks", so

unless there's heavy plot bias working here, I see no problems with anyone interrupting. In fact, Natsume, who was tipped off by Sanetoshi about the diary in a previous scene, is the most likely one to do it. It would make sense logically and all.

EDIT: at any rate, I won't give up hope until the very end. It's the first time I actually care about something in this series, so I just won't.

Himari and her crappy angsting - bleh...

Finally, Ringo got what she deserved! I'm not even in the least feeling sorry for her! She was a total psycho, she tried to rape Tabuki and treated Shoma like the worst piece of crap! I'd just call it a justice.

Shoma is a retard! I still think needs a good kick in the ass!

Masako was cool as always!

Oh and Yuri just made my day! I wanna ride in her car!

I think it was interesting they maintained the Paris imagery in this episode with the Tokyo Tower at the beginning. Yuri being a lesbian was so obvious that I previously never considered it, so I was surprised. I can see her sexuality as a lesbian or even a futa interacting with the idea of fate. I'm not entirely sure what the significance of the scarfs was and I'll probably have to rewatch that scene to grasp more of its meaning, but if I recall correctly Himari had thrown out scarfs of different colors, and kept the blue one? I was under the impression that she was knitting the scarf for Shouma, since in the first episode Himari's penguin is in the blue bin, which is Shouma's hair color, and Himari didn't appear to be asking Kanba in episode 10 about a gift for him. Kanba's likewise in love with Himari, and too is his penguin in Himari's bin, so I think that's enough evidence in itself to conclude that Himari is in love with Shouma.

It's not confirmed yet. I mean, we haven't seen it. But there's a lot of dialog pointing at it. It's really the only logical conclusion IMO.

We've seen her practically completely naked this episode and there was nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing worth calling a "secret", like Yuuki did. So that must be somewhere we couldn't see . In this regard, they did show a good share of Ringo's lower stomach, but of course they didn't with Yuri...

Seriously, Kanba is a siscon, Shoma is a self-loathing prick, Ringo was a creepy stalker, Masako was and still is a creepy stalker and now Yuri is an implied hermaphrodite and a rapist.

Not that I dislike the fact there are abnormal people... just that last one freaks the hell out of me.

When Ringo tried to rape Tabuki and while that was also extremely messed up & wrong this is worse for me because it is an adult taking advantage of a child

Also I knew it was going to happen because of spoilers but I still totally cried during

The Shouma rejection scene. It just shows how much I have grown to love Ringo/Shouma that even without understanding the dialoug that scene affected me so much.

I am sure Shouma will see how wrong he was before the end I just hope it happens sooner rather than later

edit: Also New Ending....it's not so much that I disliked the song but I actually thought Gray Wednesday fit better with the images.


edit 2: I actually really like who Himari was making the scarfs for, that was a pleasant twist.

Well I don't think that scene was supposed to be fun. I was very disturbed but I think that was the point.

But considering it happened on a cliffhanger I think there is a good chance she will be saved by someone/something.

firstly the first part with the male actor having breast. Is he a she? because in the scene with his body facing the mirror. Those are clearly big breast. Plus Shouma rejecting Ringo... poor girl. Then Kanba being emo and the the girl with a sling type weapon that can erase memory (forgot her name) is doing much better for me than Kanba being all stuck in the dark side and emo. She tried to help him but he still stubbornly rejects and continue to deny that he is doing it for his family. Then Yuri... YURI YURI and it all ended up as YURI RAPE!!! though I start to doubt if she is a normal girl if she stole the dairy. So maybe she's a he? or s/he? futa?

Rape is not cool however (although a small part of me appreciates the irony of this particular situation - the wanabee rapist becoming the rapee), so I'm also praying Ringo will be saved. The only way I can see her getting out of this sticky situation is if Natsume shows up to steal the other half of the diary. Let's hope it's exactly what will happen.

I'm really mad with Sho's attitude in this episode. I can sort of understand where he's coming from, but that was harsh. To think I was afraid Ringo would be the one who'd have a hard time dealing with whatever he had to reveal to her. He needs to realize his parents are his parents and that he bears no responsibility for their actions. None of the siblings are at fault, yet they are the ones paying the price. Unfair but realistic, I suppose.

This episode made me realize I like Ringo far more than I thought. She's the character I care about the most, by far.
