Campaign to get a CE and a Servant in FSN in the original VN art. So free Saber essentially.
Total of 60 quartz to be given.
And a stream tomorrow with the FSN cast for more news(hopefully).

To be fair, they might just celebrate the 20th anniversary of the anime instead, since that came out in 2006. Not like the VN came out in English (officially) anyway.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we did . I do agree this is one thing they should just drop everywhere at once. Since it's just a free servant and quartz. Not like there any sort of animation update that they'd have to jump through some hoops over (since they don't do those anymore).

To be released this year 2024, on Steam and Nintendo Switch.

I'm definitely ready for this Valentine event. 2023 was pretty nuts. Ended up with over 20 new characters so I'll be swamped with good Valentines to enjoy this time around. Might be more thin next year, but that's something to tackle later. I won't be rolling much on this one. I'd like to save all I can for Melt's return banner in a few weeks.

This one definitely shows how much they started putting into these. Some of them are practically interludes that get the reward of being fully voiced .

Spoiler for Melusine:

I couldn't start anywhere else honestly. It wasn't a surprise, but this one is still special. As much as anything it was seeing this scene in 2022 that really put Melusine on my saving radar. Such a great scene from start to finish. The little moments of a few staff giving her chocolates shows her pure popularity in Chaldea and the scene just builds from there.

Love little moments like her getting hyped about getting a Valentine...and then looking dead on the inside when she thought she wasn't getting one . Plus it was just a wonderful way to dive into her mindset. The way she views the world, the reason, seeing the path of the future with the MC, and how she's greedy in the best of ways. Loves getting presents and loves giving them. And just doesn't want to see someone she cares about get themselves killed.

It's a really sweet scene.

Spoiler for Summer Kama:

This one isn't as sweet, but it's pretty cute. All three versions get their own scene. They do play out similarly, but the content of what they are up to differs. And I'm glad for it. This shows how far Kama has come since that Ooku Event. And in summer mode she's all offense and basically fighting while at 1 HP. She can't take a hit without crumbling .

Loli Kama has the cute little theme park, middle Kama has a cute date on the beach, and Demon King goes all out for a hot spring resort style. All of them are fun and were cute scenes. Nothing crazy in there, but I enjoyed it.

Spoiler for Jacques de Molay:

I liked the chat. Cute to dive into the "what do you think of becoming a servant" discussion is good. Because it's certainly not impossible. There is a lack of fame since much of his actions will be kept under the radar. But it's not entirely impossible for the man that led armies of servants to save the world multiple times won't end up there eventually. It was a pretty serious discussion though in terms of her perspective on things, being a servant, and some regrets explored.

Spoiler for Ranmaru X:

Yeah starting out with busting down a door/wall is pretty much what I'd expect from a valentine involving this character! A nice goofy Valentine. Not bad. Especially once she got to the point of asking...what Valentine's were even all about . Really turned into a good love-comedy scene. It got pretty cute and I appreciate the care they put into it.

Spoiler for Medb:

Not exactly new for the game, but new for me since I used that 5* ticket on her last year . Not exactly a deep scene, but it's what you'd expect from those first few years when they were pretty quick and simple. Nice of her to go along and give some chocolate. And no surprise that right after she's off to chase down every version of Cu that she can find!

Spoiler for Fairy Knight Tristan:

So yeah, back to the LB6 girls. Baobhan Sith misunderstanding things while chatting with "Elizabeth" was pretty fun. Took way too long to realize those "horror" movies were romance films. Love pulling out the terrifying Elizabeth face for that! Impressive that they went ahead and rebuild her room from LB6 in Chaldea. I think doing the knights before Morgan makes sense since I remember hers being a pretty huge scene as well.

Cute that Baobhan Sith is doing this heavy chocolate research ahead of time for Morgan. Really chipper when it comes to taking action for her mother. And completely convinces herself that giving chocolate is a necessary bribe to avoid contracts getting cut off. Says a lot when she's in the category of servants that the MC is wary of. Bit of a hazardous chocolate. But to be fair...if it does go after any chocolate to attack...most servants would be able to smash that thing anyways. So it should be fine.

Now that I think about it...that chocolate is actually Castoria's fault. Seriously...that girl and her "Merlin Magecraft." Does she have some sort of beef with me!?

Spoiler for Fairy Knight Gawain:

Sometimes I forget how chill a voice she has despite that intense character design . And honestly super entertaining confident she acted only to hit the reveal that she only had the most basic knowledge of Valentine's Day ! Also I love how Castoria (outside of the Melusine scene) is all over these LB6 Valentine scenes so far. Makes sense. They can't give Castoria a fresh one written after her appearance in LB6. But they can have her interact with Barghest and Baobhan Sith who she did interact with quite a bit. Probably a good thing she stayed out of the Melusine scene...that wouldn't have fit . Thank goodness Barghest turned to the...Chocolate Meister for help. (Was this really the best choice!?)

Funny that most of her valentine was spent chatting with Castoria. But that was still nice.

Spoiler for Morgan:

While Melusine is a personal favourite, this one is definitely up there. A really huge scene with some cute moments with the various Fairy Knights all hanging out with Morgan . Honestly that's treat enough even before the chocolate. Love the bit where Tristan gets nailed. Her taunting resulting in Morgan tasking her to make Barghest some shoes that can hold up . All the banter going on while Melusine is struggling to stay awake . Her using "being a dragon" as a reason for her not being a morning person is good fun. Says a lot about how bad she is with mornings that Morgan is simply impressed that she showed up at all!

Pretty impressive that Barghest and Baobhan Sith are completely lost on who Morgan is thinking of. With Sith looking to get Ritsuka to help...with defeating himself! While girl with a plan (though very tired) Melusine gets it instantly. And she's totally cool with it. Lovers and Spouses being in different categories to her after all .

Just fun how Morgan gathers her greatest allies and unleashes all their wisdom for Valentine's Day! Sith and Barghest offering some solid tips. Melusine just goes for the jugular though! Even giving some nods to her thinking on her own Valentine gift. Since she'd be too much to handle (physically) she went for a symbolic present. That was a fair tip for Morgan of course. Something that represents her isn't a bad choice.

Morgan gets some cute moments once the time to give the gift arrives.

Spoiler for Okuni:

That was pretty cute. She tried to play things casually with the performance and creating goods for herself. But got seen through and had some cute reactions. Good for her. A nice chance for her to engage in a bit of romance. Just a nice and sweet Valentine scene. Did end up embarrassing herself quite a bit there with talking a bit too loudly after leaving the room. But that kind of cute embarrassment works. Plus it also let her show off some real "whew, can't believe all that" as she caught her breath after first leaving the room.

Spoiler for Idol X Alter:

Another nice little scene. Did enjoy the crazy "did this actually ever happen" moment. I could totally see something absurd like that happening in Chaldea though. And her gift was a nice one. No complaints here.

Spoiler for Zenobia:

Time for a survival trek through the desert!? Some solid tips for riding camels. Well I suppose that can be considered a date that suits Zenobia. I'm sure it was nice for her to share something personal to her like that.

She's definitely right that this event is a good chance for those wallflower types to take a step forward. Makes sense especially for Osakabe, Eresh, Serenity, etc. Love how she's pretty much referencing any BB Valentine with the dangers of Valentine's Day . I like how she kind of shows that wallflower type attitude towards it herself at points. Great gift too. Some head protection is not a bad thing to have .

Spoiler for Shuten:

Another example of how last year was a great chance to stumble on characters I'd just kept missing over the years. Some warnings sent over Raikou though I don't think she'd have any bad ends for her Valentine . Cute present given by Shuten though. Damn she had quite the plan for Kintoki if she had the chance ! Did interpret not wanting her to kill Kintoki as jealousy, but I suppose that is an oni for you. Good strategy for her not to linger too long. She is extremely dedicated to her desires so that could get dangerous.

Spoiler for Valkyries:

A nice one getting to interact with that trio . And certainly a smart way to use the "chat while the MC is asleep" system . Nothing too crazy there. Just a nice little chat and a chance for all three to express their feelings.

Spoiler for Koyanskaya Light:

Apparently BB (and I think a couple others) activities of trapping the MC in alternate dimensions has really built up a reputation! Even got some Fou vs Vitch action which is justified . She even brought out the guns! And off to getting stuck in some dimensional casino . Stuck in there for months for the sake of this Valentine . I can imagine one choice there would lead to a bad end. But I think I'll play it pretty simply on the first time through it. Hilariously will have to wait to go through it again since apparently trying not to get stuck in some digital casino is the wrong choice . Took some extra chocolate but did get back in for round 2!

And yeah had to take the losing game, drop into a pit, and start a grind out of the dungeon. But did get the Valentine just at months of life. So…win I think?

Yeah, that simple and cute. Just a nice lady offering some brownies. And a nice suggestion to bring a good group together later to enjoy more some other time.

Spoiler for Summer Sei Shōnagon:

Just the start of this one made it clear this would be pretty fun. It was a nice mix of ridiculous and sweet. The kind of thing you'd expect from Sei honestly. A ridiculous series of paper sumo battles, but did lead to some good moments. An honest acknowledgment of the MC carrying so much on his shoulders. And that people like her are there to lean on if things just become utterly too much to handle. Obviously not just about chocolates at that point. She's absolutely suited to being a Berserker since she's pretty darn crazy. But that just makes it fun. I'm glad that during all my summer pulls that I got quite a few copies of her along the way.

Spoiler for Summer Anastasia:

That was silly and cute. Of course she goes way too hard on her chocolate concept and ends up stuck to it along with the MC . Though I'm trying to guess at exactly kind of position they were stuck against the chocolate in...

I did appreciate Corday getting into the mix. Makes sense with how close those two were during that event. And her being absolutely merciless in getting every servant with heat powers to melt that chocolate .

Spoiler for Summer Da Vinci:

Since I only got Rider Da Vinci and Summer Da Vinci last year I wasn't sure initially which scene this was. But yeah became clearly summer in a hurry. I can understand her struggles in giving up on her stuff. A strong desire to just keep everything. Nice little bit of summer nostalgia there. And clearly Da Vinci has settled on her ship for FGO! Totally going ahead and pushing for the MC and Mash to have a nice honeymoon .

Spoiler for Rider Da Vinci:

Hilariously the next random chocolate did land on her! This was also pretty cute. She went for the maid ascension and definitely put a lot of effort into that chocolate. Just a lot of sweet vibes in that conversation. And of course she remains pretty committed to the Mash ship there . Just maybe not as overt about it as during her summer version. A bit of a softer tone at the very end, but knowing the nature of her existence that makes sense.

Spoiler for Cinderella Elizabeth:

I love the casual nature of trying to toss some chocolate at Elizabeth and having her actively reject that! A Cinderella wants to be charmed a bit after all! And I totally get her desire to just ask for what the other party wants. Gifts without some guidelines can be a tricky thing. Plus allows for a kind of couples mission with helping her make the chocolate. Love the little montage of the various cooking servants having to watch this situation unfold.

Also I love that there is now more than enough for a Council of Elizabeths! Along with poor Gordy going (oh my god) with his expression before bailing out!

Spoiler for Summer Charlotte:

Well this was cute. Pretty goofy, but definitely cute. Lot of time spent again with Anastasia and just on the making of the chocolate. Personally I prefer the scenes where the interaction with the MC is the focus, but this is fine. Though I suppose it needed some focus since...it did come to life. Not the best of scenes, but it was ok.

Spoiler for Beni-Enma:

Glad I picked her up last year. A good bit of luck. Did have to sit through Blackbeard's laments, but Beni's sweet voice was worth it. Now Beni could be a bit easier on Dantes. He works hard and can't be on top of everything . A complimented Beni is an even cuter Beni. Good times .

Spoiler for Summer Okita Alter:

I love the goofy nature of Okita Alter. And kind of nice she gets a Valentine like this too. Her OG Valentine was very sweet and emotional as well, but this works too. The back and forth comedy bit between Okita Alter and Rengoku was fun. They clearly put effort into making that chocolate, so glad it turned out well. And it doesn't avoid the somber elements to Okita Alter's very existence.

Spoiler for Percival:

Admittedly I don't pay that much attention to the male side of this thing though there are good scenes there. This one was special though. I like the idea that Percival felt it was important to ask for help to get into contact with Melusine. Obviously his existence in Chaldea is difficult for her since he isn't the same guy as in the LB. But I like that Percival wants to and feels he needs to talk with her. A good guy and a solid knight for sure. Honestly the only downside to this scene is that we don't actually get to see that interaction. Maybe someday that will be in an interlude or something.

Spoiler for Santa Martha:

Who knew asking Tarasque if he's duplicated when Martha is would be such an intense question!? I'm guessing not from that reaction. Which means he re-organizes himself from helping one Martha cooking to getting flung and punched into oblivion by another. That guy has quite the difficult life! It was a nice little Valentine scene. Just one with many questions!

Spoiler for Nezha:

And with this I'm finally done all the new female servants from the past year! Wow this was a ride. Nice little scene to finish off with. Nezha may get treated strangely by the main story at times, but she's a solid character. That was looking to be a very normal and surprisingly niche Valentine for a wild place like Chaldea. So of course...that didn't quite happen . Sanzang utterly driving Nezha up the wall! We utterly picking on the embarrassed Nezha here .

Whew that was fun. These scenes really have gotten better as they've gone along. Of course there is definitely bias to some characters over others. But I still love the moments that I get with favourites here.

Still have yet to start on the event, meanwhile I'm having fun with my Bazett. It took me several tries, but I managed to 2T Kiara's 3 health bars, that counter hits really hard when paired with double Skadi.

I thought Mannanan had just gone dormant inside Bazett, I was not expecting that. Bazett being so proud she managed to summon Cu during the fifth HGW was really funny considering... the entirety of FGO. Also the way she keeps insisting she's the more experienced Master.

At least I was able to get one copy of Yui Shosetsu from the first 20 quartz of the FSN campaign plus the new Evocations. Don't really feel getting this Ushi Gozen and I don't need any more Extra classes. Just saving the rest for Valentines.
Now to just finish the event and make Iori permanent. I'm always slacking off on events on FGO nowadays.
