And BTW, Vash the Stampede is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, not Crispin Freeman. And I'm pretty sure that Johnny Yong Bosch can pull off Accelerator's voice: Spoiler:
P.S. He did state in his Myspace blog in an FAQ entry that anti-heroes is his personal preference. Quote:

Spoiler for Prior comedic role:
If Bosch gets the role of Accelerator great. If not I know of someone who I thought had a similar voice, Micah Solusod. My example... Spoiler for prior role:

Michael Tatum Aisa Himegami- Kari Wahlgren Aiho Yomikawa- Michelle Ruff Motoharu Tsuchimikado- Doug Erholtz Pierce Aogami- Todd Haberkorn Mitsuki Unabara/Quetzal- Chris Patton Aleister Crowley- Crispin Freeman Ao Amai- Christopher Bevins Sherry Cromwell- Luci Christian Misha Kreuzhev- Karen Strassman

Zero
Not even any news of a controversial religious outrage at the inaccurate depiction of Christianity as an excuse, or any indignation at the many depicted child abuse scenes including mass mutilation and human experimentation to call off the project... I mean, what does an Anime have to do to get some attention around here?

Why do I get my hopes up when I see this thread bumped.
According to the Funimation forum the delays seem to be caused by Geneon licensing issues due to the merger with Universal Pictures Japan. Last time I checked the forum, it said that most of the material had been received at the end of September 2011, but they were still waiting for some other material before starting dubbing. At this point it is hard to say how much longer we with have to wait.
