You mean the big, long, rather unexciting massacre that Kazuma and Ryuhou laid down on the mainland forces before they had their personal brawl? It was like "yeah, we get it already, they can destroy entire armies by coughing too loud." Impressive enough, but not that thrilling to watch.

Yeah that was a pretty boring episode.. and than the final episode totally delivered in the actions stakes... and yet so many people complained lol..

No trailers (T.T)?

Anyway, I didn't think the last ep was boring, and I tend to always appreciate epilogue episodes, since I'd like to know what a char is doing after everything ends. Actually, since it IS an epilogue ep, which(in an action show) is always after some big climatic, drama-filled battle, I think it's to be expected that the chars would be taking it easy, and/or adjusting to their new/former lives.

They need to get rid of Hisashi Hirai's char designs though. They are f'kn fugly with practically the same design for every char, except they have diff eye colors and hair styles .

I hated the anime ending, but I wish they would have just reanimated the series

i like the scryed, it wasn't a great series and the story was only skin deep but it work with what it had. a hot blood fighting show that provided a few moments of drama and comedy and did not get bog down in techno jargon or fights.

while i would rated it as mid-tier show in the early 2000s, i would consider it a high-tier show in the new decade.

I think the manga was simply too short (or I should say, jam packed), if it was more fleshed out then it could've been much better. I do wish they would incorporate some of it's elements into the anime like some of the characters not dying...

The S-Cry-ed Bluray Boxset just got listed on Amazon Japan, currently shot upto the #4 ranking... anyway looking @ muhootsaver's blog we'll be getting a S-Cry-ed Alteration 'next episode' PV as part special/bonus features.

Comes out October 26th.

The show still had some of the most creative powers in a shounen anime i've seen. Characters like the comeback robot guy and the script changer made S-cry-ed one of the better shounen of its time. Let's not forget the fantastic ost. I really loved it back in the day and its still better than 90 percent of crap produced today by the industry.

Okay, these movies were horrible. The editing was shit. They have enough material to make a semi-coherent story, but they cut everything except the fights. The result was a mess that you can't understand unless you watched the series beforehand.

That been said, I loved the changes they did to the ending.
Spoiler for spoiler movie:

How cool is that?

Very cool indeed. Especially since I prefer to believe that the final episode of the series is merely the leftover remnants of a bad nightmare.

Pretty much agree with this. Would've been nice to see them adapt the manga's story though.
