Nah.. its not just cos she's god (though thats a good enough reason ) because in novel 4, the alternate Haruhi

no longer has any 'god-like' powers

yuki only talks when it matters, which is infinity better then Tsuruya who talks or rather laughs pointlessly at anything

Tsuruya-san is great! her genki (crazy) personality is really refreshing... one can't get boring with a girl like her.

I noticed in the preview for episode "7" it showing Suzumiya jumping on a bed and behind her is a poster of the three main female VAs. I just love that kind of stuff.

Reminded me of the bit in Azumanga when a radio is playing one of Asakawa Yuu's songs (the VA/songstress who voiced Sakaki in that).

no rather they dressed...normal?
And its a generally agreed letting your children wander anout without a top in those weather back then is not a good for their health.

Then again the only person that that did run around my house topless was my old man....

Did I miss something here...? Been reading this whole thread from top to bottom...but I don't know who Tsuruya is. Is it a novel character that hasn't been introduced yet? I'm confused.

On another note, this episode was awesome. Mikuru taking pictures of sleeping Kyon (obviously because Haruhi wants to drool over them) and the famous loli bag scene. Priceless.

Note: The sea trip episode is chapter 5 of the third novel... are they going to cram the rest of the chapters in the 7 episodes left? Or just the first three novels?

Tsuruya is the girl with long dark green hair who appears as a 'zombie' in Episode 1 (Mikuru's Adventure) and Episode 4 (baseball tournament).

Oh i dunno Onizuka, I find that Tsuruya has quite a well developed sense of humor and perhaps the most "normal" girl in the show. Though it is inappropriate in it's timing, her laugh is hilarious. Kinda reminds me of Dr. Julius Hibbert from the Simpsons... cept lolier.

Yuki is cute too but I prefer some emotions when choosing favorites. Kyon refers to her often as a room decoration and I'm fairly inclined to believe him. Although, Yuki has an advantage because I absolutely love short hair.

But really for me, it's a race btween Haruhi and Mikuru. Haruhi just has so much genki-ness and awesomeness flowing through every strand of her hair and Mikuru is the cuteness equivalent of a million puppies.

It's a battle of epic proportions. Though Haruhi took the slight lead this episode with her completely random thoughts. *takes cover from Mikuru fanatics*
