Alexei, he doesn't get tired of using his Mystic Arte 'till on and after the 3rd use. Anything before that, it's not gonna work and you're just better off running away for your life.

Yep, I figured that out after like the 7th try or so. Those missions made the game last at least 3-4 hours longer for me than necessary......

Kratos having Gendo's VA just made him that much more badass.

It's Dhaos's back story that makes him so popular among fans. I still remember getting amazed over the fact that Dhaos didn't want to kill because he want to "rule the world" or something like that when I first played ToP. (It's pretty rare for a game from back in 1995 to have such an idea.)

There's still so much I haven't done in this game but I find myself playing WoW instead lately. Guess I just have a hard time still playing a non-mmo rpg after the story ends, even one with a great battle system like this.

You mean it's pretty rare for any game nowadays where the main villian doesn't want to destroy/rule the world/galaxy/universe/etc.

Lol, speaking of side quests, I've just completed the Bunny Guild quest- And the ending cut scene is hilarious!

Yuri looks... awkward with his bunny ears attachment. Mainly because it's black and looks more like huge hair tentacles.

And damnit, I want the eyepatch + black hat together.

Got a chance to play it a little, just helping my friend to beat that fatass, and effectively finishing the first half of the game coughRagoucough typical of EVERY main Tales game.

And by the way, is Flynn playable?

For like 10 minutes. I think you've gotten everyone at this point in the game (7 playable characters).

For that moment, yea. People still leaves the party here and there for various reasons 'till the end of part 2.

Really? I thought he looks quite good with 'em...

Yeah, For awhile But his equipment sucks though

Oh yeah, I heard that he uses Artes from previous Tales games... The ever popular Demon Fang for example.

Flynn's Artes are like:
Demon Fang, Demonic Circle, Sword Rain: Alpha, First Aid, Holy Lance, and his hi-ougi is uh... I forget but in Japan it sounds like he says "Getsuo tensho!" in it somewhere so people usually bring that up sometimes... It's pretty weak though. At least when you fight him so it's not when Asch uses his hi-ougi and you basically DIE if he hits you

Flynn is playable in one battle in part 3. It's a fun fight but it's the only time he's useable.

Think the hi-ougi's JP name is somewhere along the lines of Souryuu Metsugashou or something like that, can't remember off the top of my head.

Flynn's MA in the eng vers is Radiant Dragon Blast(not sure about the 'blast' part). Fast fact: That's actually a move Van used except it turns & knocks you upward.

His artes are basically what previous Tales heroes such the likes of Llyod, Stahn, and Lion/Judas has. Flynn's basically a carbon copy of those heroic figures. Eventhough he's an okay character I still regret that Bamco didn't make him a playable. Such a shame because it'll easily increased the replay value of the game. Not that it's not already awesome, but still.

I've actually made a list of them (About 12 in total) in order to keep track of the fight for secret mission 21... And I've watched videos of it over and over again, only because "Fury Sparks" (The theme used for Flynn's battle) is imo the best track of the whole OST

I think that inconsistancy actually happens quite often in the EN version? I remember people complaining about other times when things like that happens...
