The mods have previously been... annoyed with SF talk. Keep it down; Angel Beats! will get a subforum when they think it warrants one, and not a moment beforehand.
I think that's the point of the multi-media aspect of the project. What with the Light Novel, two mangas... If you want to know more about particular characters, I have to think it can be found somewhere in all of the stuff, even if that character is not adequately explored in the main anime.

Finally got down to watching Ep. 2!
To be honest, I seriously contemplated ignoring this series because of all the Haruhi hate it has generated, despite Angel Beats! only having 1 episode out at that time. However, I felt it wasn't grounds enough for me to ignore a series that has impressed me at first look, and well, the Haruhi hate seems to have died down here As expected, it was a fairly good episode, with the mix of comedy and seriousness we saw in Ep. 1. Some random thoughts; - Oyama is the worst. Teammate. Ever. And still he managed to survive to the pitfall, which is amazing given his forgetfulness. - TK is awesome! Despite his sacrifice I can't help but laugh at his random Japanese phrases - Anyone else found the part where Tenshi drops down into the burning Guild expressionlessly a little sad? I know I did... - The scene with Otonashi climbing over Yuri was pretty sweet (in my opinion, anyway), and Yuri blushing was a HUGE bonus. Tsundere service, perhaps? - ED was pretty cool, I liked it better than the OP Also, regarding Yuri's past, Spoiler for Yuri's past:

The Tulip TV Poll
Props to all my Tenshi fans! I guess I have to grudgingly admit TK is pretty awesome too. To the person that mentioned the 4-koma, is there any more that has been translated than the few pages by SmithSub? Or did you happen to read the Chinese? |

This reminds me of www.clickclickclick.com a few years back, the thing degenerated into a hacking war with japan racking up billions of clicks. |

Well, having a thread for a character who so far hasn't done anything but speak Surprisingly Good English and perform a Heroic Sacrifice which was forgotten after two seconds, does seem a bit pointless, doesn't it?
