This is my reaction from episode 3 and 4, as I just watched them both (I was a week behind on this one)
I was on the fence with Mirai Nikki from the first two episodes. The Deus Ex Machina element seemed fascinating, and reminded me a bit of Eden of the East, but with scenes like bombs in the highschool and kids throwing their books out the window to "band together!" just seemed like frustratingly shounen stereotypes that didn't belong in an anime of this nature. Love for Yuno is what kept me continuing, really. Now, having pretty low expectations, episode 3 and 4 BLEW MY FREAKING MIND. I really felt the tension when he was in Yuno's house, and don't think I've prayed to influence a character's action so much in an anime. I really, really, REALLY didn't want him to open that door. I wanted to see the GOOD END that Yuno's phone was promising! I find it amazing that I like Yuno so much, she's so freaking crazy, but I can't help but empathise with her. Her line saying, "Everything was going so well... Why did you have to open that door?" - I could not agree more. Daaamnit, now Yuno will always be a villain, instead of just a bloodthirsty yandere crazily in love with Yukkii. I don't know, for some reason, the fact that she's a protective yandere of Yukkii makes me like her, instead of being the type that would slit his throat if he didn't love her back. It's not a relationship I'd like to have in real life, but I'd be happy to watch it in an anime. But anyway, I'm rambling about the wrong thing. Yukkii x Yuno shipping aside, they did a good job with number 9 this episode, turning her from "baddie of the episode" to something a little more indepth and interesting. Now I really want to learn more about her. Her outfit from episode 2 just screamed out "unimportant villain". I'm glad she lost it. I really don't like Yukkii, but I very rarely like the main characters in any anime, so I'm pretty much ignoring him. One of the best things I'm feeling about this anime is I honestly can't predict what's going to happen. I can't tell whose going to be the good guys, or the bad guys, whose going to win and when. Some things hint to Yuno being the savior in the end, but other things don't. I also couldn't tell if the Clairvoyance girl was good or bad? It's all a very nice shade of gray at the moment. I hope this kind of bat-shit crazy trend continues!!

Until the end when just Yukiteru and Yuno are left, both of them have plot armor. It's hard to be worried about either of them. At the end, I give Yukiteru a 50% chance, the other half going to Yuno. It's hard to know what will happen in the end with just the two of them left. Anything could happen.

And Yukiteru's sanity goes down the drain, much like the budget this episode. I know this was never gonna be the best looking anime, but the animation was kinda poop. Lol@ Yuno's face.
I guess the weird eye guy, having poor houdini chick in a cell neekid and without an eye was pretty funny stuff. But of course, he once again underestimates the main character (Who could blame him). He is definitely one sick fuck. My favorite part was Yuno getting mad over people talking shit about her. =D Overall, the episode wasn't bad. I'll give it a 6/10. I'm not really feeling it for anyone; I guess Yuno is kinda amusing and the villains are kinda there and getting dumber looking per episode, but hey. This can serve as my campy wannabe horror anime this season.

One of the top 3 anime of the cour, but the only one I haven't posted for yet. Don't wanna accidentally tread on manga spoiler landmines (I don't trust my resistance to curiosity from opening spoiler tags; there's a big reason why I stopped reading the manga XD) so I'm absent, but just wanna say right now, survivor + mystery + the craziest yandere anime has ever seen = full of win.
Crazy ass bitch indeed.

Well, I want to say that as long as people follow the rules, there should be no future event spoilers even behind spoiler tags, as that's forbidden. I know that unfortunately some people don't always follow the rules though (and it's not reported/addressed quickly enough to prevent a few people from seeing it), so there is some risk, sadly.

on topic to the episode, I too approve of the anime improving on clarity on some things here, it flowed smoothly. I like how casually Yuno climbed in there with an ax and Yuki just...felt something bad |
