the goodbyes were oddly touching, guess they might have a future if ever a s2 with a grown up ecarlate does come to pass, but not like the one in the fake preview , they better design her better, though the thighs were good

Ixion Saga DT remained Ixion Saga DT till the very end, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is by far the most enjoyable comedy anime I've had the pleasure of watching every week. A great deal of the reason comes from the fact the staff and cast make following it a fun experience beyond just the show itself. From the anime to the radio show, nicolives, opening/ending themes, character songs, audio commentaries, etc. everything was pure fun. Of course this wouldn't have been possible without the amazing cast and their interactions with each other in and outside of the anime. Even if another comedy anime is funnier than Ixion Saga DT, the overall experience itself will be very difficult to beat.

Overall, the anime itself was quite hilarious. It was definitely aimed for those who know the anime won't be taken seriously and not expect a SAO-esque plot. The show sure as hell know how to poke fun at a good amount of cliches and idioms well. However, it does have a couple of filler episodes or at least some characters that are simply thrown in randomly... or probably didn't get enough time to further develop for the available 25 episodes they were given *coughMirandaOrEp8*. Nonetheless, still worth watching. The beginnings of the OP and all 3 EDs always give a chuckle inside.

8.5/10

That is apparently on reserve for the princess. We initially suspected that the princess would grow the elephant nose later in life, thus the reason for the princess in having to be married off at an early age. But we didn't realize at that time that the Ixion technology can only transfer it from one person to the next.

You can`t do justice to this show with looking at things like plot and visual.
It was a fun run and I`m a little sad to see it ends.

Just asking a silly question...
Am I to understand that Kon was only gone for one night ?
Waiting for the princess to be old enough isn`t so bad than.

I could see this having another go with all the tropes and clichés about sequels.

Same question here. If one night on Earth = half a year on Mira, Ecarlate is going to be Kon's age in two weeks maximum...

I waited to watch this series since I was watching Zetsuen No Tempest. I have to say that this show surprised me. I was thinking it was going to be a serious fantasy themed anime. Even though it wasn't what I thought it would be, I appreciate this anime even more. I'm on episode 14 right now and I plan on finishing this series in a day or two.

After a week, a finally finished the series. Again it wasn't as I expected and I thought the series was very funny. I really hope a season 2 is in the works, but I doubt I heard it didn't sell too well.
