My props go to Zolo. Not many people are fueled on a simple dream, learn three sworded techniques AND keep a cool and intimidating personality. Luffy's not really a creative character. He's too annoying. ('specially in the English version <shiver>) Sure, he has a dream and cool powers, except Zolo was chasing his dream before Luffy and Luffy needs his Gum Gum powers to perform his decent attacks as Zolo needs no devil fruit. My fav is obvious, because I usually have a weakness for swordsmen.

If sanji had Luffys strawhat he would probably be the coolest, but right now Zoro is cooler

zolo is a cool character, but so far aokiji has got my vote as coolest character. i mean he rides a bike in the middle of the ocean!

although nico robin is my favorite character. smart, strong, sexy.

Tough choice, i like so many.
My choice is Luffy. i just love that guy. He's funny and a very likeable character.

silent but full of knowledge and lethal...

she has troubled past.. that's a pity.. but she manage to hold it quite well...

Ace = coolest because of:

- the whitebeard tatoo on his back
- The mispelling of "Ace" on his arm, which made me laugh (maybe Luffy did it)
- his "badass but cool" attitude
- his power = omg

I also love Sengoku the buddha, who is just so funny with all the medals, his bird hat and his pet). He looks so gay but is (must be) SO strong...
can't wait to see more

Who the hell is Zolo? That names pisses me off. Freakin english dubb ruins everything. They make luffy sound like a 5 years old, sanji like a black man, and I can't even comment on the weak pathetic voice of Zolo, I mean Zoro. I demand that you people give Zoro the respect and call him Zoro from now on!

Geez, why do people always equate "coolest" with "strongest"? I mean, by your logic, Eneru/Enel should be one of the coolest.

It's all about the 'Sopp. Armed with a rubber band and a 4 pound hammer that will temporarily make you think you were hit by a 4-ton hammer, and the fact that nobody can sound annoyed quite like Usopp can make him cool beyond words.

Zoro and Sanji... their bad-assitry goes without saying. But it takes a whole lot to be the 'Sopp. When the other two can put on a mask and cape and wear it better than Sogeking, then we'll talk. :P

(P.S. You could be right about Sanji. I didn't like his voice at first, and absoloutely adore it now, but had I heard his Japanese voice, daisuki datta 'n darou na.[I would've probably loved it.]

Then you must have very little idea how a black man sounds. He sounds more like he's got a generic Brooklyn accent.

I have to say Usopp.

One of the funniest characters I've seen. I remember when he used the 5 ton hammer in the Arabasta arc (which it wasn't) and Chopper was going crazy cause he could lift it.

i gotta put in a vote for my boy, LUFFY.

i don't know how anyone could hate on him. well, maybe hate that dumb cheap imation of him on cartoon network. but the real luffy owns all

whenever he's on screen, you know something's gonna happen, and i love every moment of it. and coolest? why not, who can own luffy when he's pissed off??? and his recent "words of wisdom" aboard the rocketman solidifies the fact that this guy is deeep
