What should I ask for...
There is this friend of mine that came for a two day visit the other day. As she was disappointed with the walls of my room she asked me to give her a motive and she would make me a painting of it. So now I am wondering if you guys/gals would mind giving me some suggestions and inspiration.

Anry is one of my favourite artists so I guess you could say I like art of the same style as his own.

Did you refer to him because you like his motives or his style? It seems he paints fantasy/sci-fi pictures (HalfLife2! ).
I'd go for a naked girl, though. Maybe she can make some naked fantasy girl, like a nymph or something

okay... let me get this straight....
kajic has a female friend coming over. She has offered to paint something on his walls for him. The male members of this forum are suggesting that kajic asks her to paint a picture of a naked woman? -_-' Do that, kajic, and every chick that comes into your room will have raised eyebrows and (probably) second thoughts about you. (does anyone leave their porn out for their girlfriends to see?) At any rate, at least ask for a handful of clothes on the chick. Sometimes, a little bit of clothes can be sexier (and less offending) than no clothes at all. Take this for example: Spoiler for warning, boob shot!!:
You still get all the gratitude of a beautiful woman in your room, without it being "indecent" and a turnoff... well, too much of one, anyway. Personal opinion, of course, counts for the girlfriend/friend to judge. So, what I'm saying is... tasteful nudity. |

It’s funny how all that has been suggested is nudity, lol
I don’t feel like asking for a nude/semi-nude chick. Nut just because it would make people raise their eyebrows but also because I’m sure there are motives I would enjoy a lot more. Anyway, I would appreciate if you could post some links to images you enjoy and believe would look nice on a wall… nh1: I would say I like both his style and the motives (with a few exceptions). mememe: I was considering asking for an anime character but after some thinking I came to the conclusion it really wasn’t a must. |

Well you can always ask for a picture of Stockholm with the text:
Stockholm i mitt hjärta, låt mig sjunga det nu... So that everyday that you wake up and feel your life is shit, you can always just look up at that picture and think, "Well there are things that's worse" . Or just to go with the picture of a girl on the wall theme, ask her to make a portrait of her self with the motivation "so that everyday I wake up and feel down I can look up at your smiling face and be reminded of how nice people there are in the world". |
