Am I the only one who didn't like the whole rewinding thing.

Personally, I felt that it was nothing more than "unneccessary fanservice" that ends up stalling the story to a halt and delays events that are more important storywise (in this case, trying to reach the student that's closest to Negi and Chachamaru).

Can someone translate this? It's a chart of how much people like Negi. Apperantly Nodaka has the highest Love and Sex scores. Asuna has the highest filial score, Yue has the highest like score and Kui Fei has the highest friend score. Also Zazie has ? for all scores and Eva has a high filial and sex score for Negi.

A translation of the chart can most likely be found in the Negi-Pa thread of the Aquastar message board.

BTW, Nodoka being the number 1 student when it comes to love for Negi definitely makes me one happy Nodogi fan.

Probably.

Seriously, like all of Akamatsu's manga, Negima is full of comedy and fanservice, and I just thought that was a particularly funny bit of it, myself, which also added a little character development as a bonus.

@hypernova: best two pages of manga I've seen in a week, thumbs up. Chach is long* overdue for some personal "screen time" - she's always been rather secondary to Evangeline or just an aside.

The fanservice isn't what bothered me this time around (after all, we did get some progress in the current arc). It's more of who was found that bothered me (when it comes to possible storylines that may happen in this arc, she really doesn't need be found this early IMO).

Well, I think most of his characters have a certain same-ness to them. I don't think her looking like Naru is a recent thing, she's basically always looked like Naru when Naru is wearing glasses. Other than the twin-tails (which Asuna inherited), she looks almost exactly like Naru. So, no, it's not just you.
