You don't know what you're talking about because you can't argue an opinion. I just felt like saying it to you because I like Halo 2 more. |

Considering that I liked the story from Starcraft, and I played both System Shock games, endings like that don't bother me. They just give me more opportunities for fanfic. ^^ |

------------------------------------ So far loving the multiplayer, only problem is, no one talks with their communicators. I do a lot of Team games so I don't see why people don't. I think we should post our gamertags and get together for a few games. Gamertag: GunDAMN X |

I still can't forgive MS for buying out Bungie solely to get HALO. Especially when they canned the Mac version (Bungie was a Mac company primarily) and set the PC version on the back-burner. Then on top of it all severely limited the game compared to the original design.
Xbox is a horrible game system based on industrial design (huge, heavy, bulky console and original controller was unbelievably larger than the Dreamcast one...). And MS has an extremely bad track-record for making anything good themselves. Basically anything MS thats "good" has been licensed or they bought someone out for it. But I also said when Xbox first came out that it wouldn't fail simply bc MS would throw however many billions of dollars into it that it took to gain themselves market-share. (DOS was bought from a small computer programmer and Gates was negotiating selling rights to IBM before he had even bought DOS from the first guy. Windows was ripped off from his time helping Steve Jobs at Apple. Windows NT was ripped off from MS partnership with IBM on the OS/2 project -- they pulled out of the partnership and a short time later released NT, heavily based on the OS/2 code. IE is a ripoff of Mozilla/Netscape. I also believe that Office began as a ripoff of Wordperfect.) |

Though the game doesnt look as great as people make it out to be, it doesnt matter cause i'm also for a good story line (like starcraft). I liked the original's story line, and a continuation is always good even if it ends at a cliffhanger.
So i'll be playing it when it comes out on PC also. Oh I also heard that the online PC gaming community has droped by 30% when halo 2 go released. |

Babak: Because nobody carries game systems over to friends places to play games at all.... no that never happens, right? Look at the Gamecube and Dreamcast for good console design (just don't look to the DC controller hah).
As was said earlier, MS rushed HALO out the door resulting in a shadow of the original design. Just goes to show you how stupid the general gaming masses are -- play Tribes2 online for free with a more expansive gameplay by far than HALO (or even Tribes1 for that matter) or shell out $50/yr just for the "privelege" to play games online on a low-res TV, or share 1/4 of a TV screen playing with friends ... I thought we ditched that archaic play-type with Goldeneye on the N64? hobobaggins: Again, the problem is the PC version is held back to being limited by the console version. |
