Which I guess would be why he gave Meme taking his "first hug" a -5 in the previous episode. I'm guessing that negative came more from being caught in the act there

First question is, were they actually Erio's panties, or were they Meme's? I wouldn't put it past the mother to give her daughter her own pair of panties and tell her to give it to the guy, making him think they're the daughter's.

But even if they were Erio's, maybe he wanted them used? They looked clean to me, so maybe she could have taken off the ones she was wearing (if any) and offer those to him. That might have made him change his mind an give it an impossibly high score.

Makoto is a bit of a hypocrite. He wants to maintain the image of a pure pure boy, therefore he rates negatively any improper behaviour from his aunt and cousin, although he secretly likes them.
