For the next week or so, I'd be quite pleased over that outcome, Yot-Chan.

Thank you very much for the tidbits. On your Second viewing, do pick out Arusherri moments you might've missed to appease my fangirl heart.

As a reward, I will let you play with the one man you haven't had the pleasure of having close liaisons with in my harem : Swampstorm. It's that, or fat kittens.

We already had some furtive "encounters" via Macross World PMs, but okay.

And although I think it's still wrong, I guess "Kawamori the Bittersweet Guy" is better than "Kawamori the Troll." I trust we won't hear that, since, after all...

Brera just has weird tastes. I mean the dude wears eye make-up and has colored long nails (at least in the series).

I haven't been following much on the Kawamori Troll discussion, but during my time in the fandom, it's more likely a term of endearment and praise for Kawamori, rather than a negative jab. If you've watched Level E and its main character Ouji, and the way the fandom lavished the 'Troll' praise on him, you'd probably understand the respect and admiration behind the Troll title... at least, that's what I gathered when I come across Troll Kawamori remarks. (Level E's Ouji troll-meter got elevated to the highest of high, to the point where fans agreed he'd be trolling 4chan all the way to next Tuesday. )

@Raile : That usually seems to be the case for some people, I wonder why.

I think including clear children shows (like he's going to make them bittersweet lol) and a short he worked on for a Studio C's collection are fudging the figures more than selecting the last 15 years of his career lol Not to mention that Spring and Chaos is biographical sketch of a Japanese poet.

FYI I went from 1996 and up because that was his first bittersweet anime and since than over 50% of his productions, especially ones he's had control over have had bittersweet endings.
Late to this thread, but how did Aquarion movie have a bittersweet ending? My understanding is that the movie is just a compilation of the two OVAs together, and those definately had a happy (if somewhat confusing) ending. Well, unless you consider "any secondary character killed = bittersweet", but by that standard almost every ending is bittersweet.
