@yxxSOULxxy

Translated from Malay to English, it means:

Selamat - Happy/ Good (as in a greeting)
Hari - Day
Raya - Big

Because Eid is the biggest day on the Malay-Muslim calendar so this is the explanation I was given when being brought up from young.

KiNA, you can correct me if I'm wrong. Saya Melayu tak baik

Well, it's just a couple of days until Eid Mubarak (20th September, if the lunar calendar is to be believed, but then again I'll wait for the official announcement). And it sucks to know that I only got one day of holiday break, but work is work :x (it's a relief when the holiday break is on 1 Syawal, though).

Regardless, has anyone paid their zakat fitrah?

@ jeff: KiNA's right. It's made primarily of chocolate powder and *surprise* Marie biscuits

I've just had a hard-time to wake up Sahur for all day long I mean sometimes I couldn't sleep.

I heard that name before. It was very delicious. My mom made that for me.
