As someone familiar with trying the get autographs from Japanese guests (especially seiyuus), it's definitely worth it trying to get their autograph if you're a fan of one of their works and they are a guest at a nearby con.

Cash wise, I wouldn't go overboard about it, but I'd still consider it a personal treasure IMO.

Yes it was. Overboard... not really (unless you move from a far place an ocean/continent away [ex: California to New York]).

Just got my LE Vol. 2 - it's pretty sweet. I haven't opened the wrap or anything yet (busy) but I am glad I have it.

I don't remember, but did the LE box for Vol. 1 have a character in the back?

It is. LE 1 has Madoka and Kyubey..... LE 2 has Mami and Sayaka... and LE 3 will probably have Homura and Kyoko.

B for animation but an A for dub. *face palm*

Their ef - memories review is a bigger face palm. C for animation and B's for everything else. It pains me that so many people read their reviews.

Monster in the Box is the current target (also victimized on the volume 1 thread). MUSAWE was on Vol 1... Forgot who else was taken.

I don't really understand why people even care so much about ANN's reviews - they are meaningless.

I guess they just like to read the after effects.

To be honest,

I'm kind of disappointed in the Aniplex of America's LE sets for Madoka. Tacking on the DVDs to bump the price is lame, as I can just live with the BDs and like a 20 dollar discount.

Plus the merc that comes with it is saddening - cheap posters, that are creased beyond repair, stickers? The postcards are probably the nicest thing. I wish they included the drama CDs with a translation booklet like in the Fate/Zero boxset.

If I do splurge I'll probably only get volume 3 LE, otherwise I'd just wait until holidays where they'll have a sale on the individual BDs.

The translation sheet for that is just for the data book, not the drama cd. That's a fansub only translation.

@SRanger: Vol 3 is the last LE. Dunno if Aniplex will license three movies in Blu-Ray though.
