I think pirates or Marine Scientists would have already figured it out if it was possible. I mean Kaido produces SAD to raise an army of artificial Artificial Zoans. Why go through all the trouble if you could simply split a Devil Fruit in several pieces and feed it to twenty of your henchmen...

EDIT: I remembered Oda stating something about this and just went through the SBS and that's what Oda said about that case:

"One fruit cannot be shared by many people. I get these questions often. The Devil Fruit Abilities are transferred after one bite. After that, it's just a nastly old fruit. Nothing will happen if anyone else takes a bite. So in summation, a single fruit cannot give its powers to multiple people."

i think this is the island where luffy and the crew starts gathering people to fight kaido and big mom, because think about it
-sanji had problems with vergo and donflamingo.
-zoro had to do a combination with ussop and luffy to defeat the dragon on punk hazzard but he hasnt had the chance to prove him on this ark.
i think the new recuits from this island is:
-rebbeca
-bartolomeo
-violet

-Sanji will learn new kenpo moves from the Happo Navy and get stronger.

-The SH and HP alliance will lose against Kaido and end up retreating. BB will take advantage of the weakened Kaido and finish him off. Burgess will eat Kaido's DF, if he has one and will become the new strongest beast.

-Kid alliance will lose against Big Mom. The SH's alliance will attack the weakened Big Mom and win.

I am hoping that in this arc in the manga that luffy will get ace fruit and either eat it himself or give it to sanji or zoro omg !!!!!!

Seeing as Luffy can't eat it himself (he even stated it to Franky) I'm thinking that Zoro (or at least one of his swords) is the most likely candidate.

Giving the fruit to Zoro would probably only weaken him.
The amount of damage he already is capable of doing is comparable to a Logia user, Haki keeps him from being overpowered like he was against Eneru, and loosing their strongest fighter capable of swimming would seriously impact the crews power.
Sanji might make use of it (he already uses fire based attacks), but same reasons to avoid eating the fruit as Zoro has still apply (if to a lesser extent).
I don't see Usopp getting it (too much a power increase, and breaks his "gimmick" of trickery).
Nami or Franky, don't really see eating it either, though i got no good reasons to justify my opinion.

Giving it to one of Zoros swords might be kinda cool, but it probably involves specialized equipment Strawhats don't have.
Most likely fate for the fruit will probably be Luffy getting it, keeping it, and giving it away to someone he thinks worthy and is in need of power to fight against an enemy.

Franky did say he didn't want it even though Luffy did offer him. If Nami were to have a devil fruit, I'd prefer a zoan cat model. The Paramecium powers doesn't really suit her and the Logia powers would cheapen her weather gimmicks.

it has the abelity to make things bigger but it has only effect items.

The thing is, rather than Jora(?), the art lady, kidnapping Momo as leverage against Kinemon, what if it's a regular occurance with Doflamingo? If a hostage is needed, they already have Kanjuro. I'm speculating that Doflamingo may pick up strays/kidnap children he thinks has potential and take them into his family as "little brothers and sisters." Evidence -We see that little girl eating fruit by him. -If Vergo kicked Law's ass before going undercover, Law would have been at most eleven. -Law recognized Baby 5, after a pause, which means they were both with Doflamingo 10+ years ago, when they were both kids. -When Momonosuke has his first flashback panel, someone, presumably Doflamingo, is telling him to pull himself together. Why would Doffy care if he's just going to kidnap the kid and throw him in a ship to PH? Minor "Evidence": -Bellamy idolized him as a kid. -Violet resents him. She could be one of those children forced into his family. If this is the case, the rebellion could become bigger than just dwarves/toys/gladiators. Thoughts?
