Amen brother!!! I'll say it once and I'll say it again... Tessa complicates the relationship which makes her a primary subject for comedy

what made this a good arc was because Tessa's unexpected appearance in Sousuke's room and Kaname's reaction becuase Tessa was playing dumb with her and it made Tessa seem like an airhead and not a submarine captain

When Tessa comes to Sousuke's school, it was sooo funny that i couldn't sit still for 30 min after the disc ended Sousuke is so tense and it was funny when he jumped out of the bed because Tessa crawled in and said "Go ahead and fire"

without her fmp...well wouldn't be fmp if that makes sense to anybody

always love the Kaname's reponse "you're using that word the wrong way " in the fansub or "ooh poor choice of words"in the boxset dub.

Ah yes, the crosstalks between Kaname and Tessa are unbeaten. FMP wouldn't be half as good without those two girls. Somehow they always remind me of two sisters. Although they are often fighting there's a nice harmony betwen them.

Basically the thing did end on a nice note, and I liked it taken by itself. But you have to consider that we've had her staring into his eyes saying "it's nothing" like 8 times already in the show (instead of saying "I love you"), and her crying into his shirt countless more times. So yea, it was a Gauron arc conclusion, and should easily lead into the Amalgem (no idea if that's how you spell it) story arcs that have been written in the un-animated novels so far. In those respects it is a good ending.

I've never seen another anime that strings it out this long. Come on now, even if you don't include it in TSR, they could have at least done some fan service in the OVA and had a kiss at the end, rather than that nonsense on the submarine.

If you're gonna leave us high and dry for so long in between Anime stuff, at least throw us a bone before you do so.

I think I heard/read somewhere that Japanese people do not go around flaunting or constantly stating their affections for one another. They say "I Like You," like, once in a while, and maybe "I love you" to their partner maybe once in a lifetime.

Wasn't there a holiday declared in Japan that was "love your wife day" or something? With the request for husbands to actually come home on time and tell their wives that they loved them? Or am I high on something....Coulda sworn I read it on msnbc

with talk of the new season and the novel finishing, another OVA was a topic. "a dancing very merry christmas" (this is one of the novels) one that further shows the complication of a love triangle. it was going to be relevant in the aspect of continueing the love but not the storyline.

i wish they would make a quick 30 minute ova for this and then pump out the real deal series.

and btw there is one line in one of the novels that tells who sousuke loves... it is rather dramatic and awesome, cant wait for them to recreate this scene in the anime itself.

I don't really think they could cover all of it with just one episode. They'd need at least a few episodes length OVA(like Genshiken or Ah my goddess). It's also an important part in the story, Amalgam does get quite pissed at what they did to them.
