They won't stab you several times to death, cut off your d***, throw it under the bed, throw the knife onto another room, and still manage to trick the polices into making the case "a suicide".
Mostly j/k, but you knows which incident i referred to...

One thing I really like about anime femmes is how they usually have ideal beauty, and the simplicity of anime art conveys a very clean look for characters. Of course, this would be a problem if you would only settle for this ideal beauty typically found with many anime characters and felt disappointed with most real people not having ideal looks (such things definitely don't apply to me, in fact, I rather really like the girl next door type of women).

To be loved for who you are, without being forced to change into something you hate looking at in the mirror every morning just to "prove your love to her."
You'll be the luckiest fella alive to find a 3D girl who will do the above.

Actually 3D girls are better, IF you can find the kind that cares about you. 2D are adorable, but you can't start a family with a 2D girl.
3D > 2D (i ≈ R), in all other cases 3D = 2D (Where 3D != socialite bitch/slut).

3D! >: ( *gets set on fire*
They don't make me cringe and rip my eyeballs out when something really cheesy or cliche happens. I like to have eyes Mentally 2 dimensional girls (IRL) are also awesome depending on what their attention is put towards. They make my life less stressful =P 2D gets REALLY awkward if you're the artist (Does that make you the father ?) |

If you're talking about lusting after cartoons versus lusting after models, the two are no different. They're both shallow, image-first people who have been engineered to be nice to look at, and they're both equally unrealistic in terms of personality and attitude and so on.
Now, if you're comparing having an anime pillow girlfriend to having a real one, there's no question. Real is better for reasons I shouldn't even have to get into (and I'm not even just talking about physical ones). "That's one thing I love about anime girls...I get older and they stay the same age!"

Wh-what is this madness?
This like arguing which is better: A lightsaber or a wooden baton? Clearly one is better, but who cares? We're never getting that lightsaber! D:

Try to imagine how it would be in reality. The excessively long hair would probably look quite a bit more messy, and it would not move around in the manner that it does in animation. It would probably look unkempt, in most cases (and I say that as someone who likes women with long hair). Many of the outfits that we think are the coolest thing ever would look weird or inappropriate. The behaviors that the characters put on would also be very strange in reality. What are some of the endearing stereotypes of anime girls - the violent (but secretly caring) girl, the eccentric girl who only speaks randomly about things that sound intelligent (but nothing else), the eccentric girl who doesn't speak, the eccentric girl who talks about herself in the third person... there are many others, but take even one of those personality quirks and imagine it in real life. While some guys would truly like that (and I'm not judging anyone for it), I can say that I, personally, would find such behavior to be a turn-off and even annoying. I love seeing it on the shows because it tickles a "that's cute" type of reflex, but in reality? Nope. Put it together, and while "2D girls" are great in the context of fantasy, their appeal doesn't extend beyond that.
