I dunno... I have pretty mixed opinions of the first episode. There was a ton more fanservice than I expected and the production values were... meh at best. The BGM was also sinfully awful. Half the time it sounded like things were ripped straight from... say... the Saturn Valley in Earthbound. As long as the maids were around tearing crap up, it was pretty fun, but *shrug*

Ep1 was intersting, and sticked true to the original manga. Rikki-chan plays a superb Kogarashi...the OP isn't the best of what KOTOKO can offer, but it's not bad. ED is alright.

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for Kamen no Maid Guy, Episode 1: I was looking forward to this one. And it delivered. Now, to begin at the beginning and end at the ED. OP - "Special Life!" by KOTOKO. Fun song, I can see myself listening to it a lot. ED - Rock tune, very cool. So far, probably the best OP and ED this season, but I still have a few more shows to check out that may prove me wrong. Naeka is a pretty good lead. A bit temperamental, but she can definitely defend herself. Given that she practices kendo, I fully understood that segment. Good thing Bamboo Blade aired last season so I know the rules of the game. Kousuke doesn't seem too bad, but the star of the show is the Maid Guy himself, Kogarashi. Okay, KoGARashi. Getting that out of the way now. Manliess in everything he does, and the only way to bring him under control is that whistle. I await further antics from him and subs for this show. Oh, nearly forgot to mention - lensflare on eyecatches remind me of TTGL. Which is a very good thing.

After one episode, my opinion of this show is... Win! Hilarious stuff! Kogarashi is an epic character. And immensely dense. He has zero sense of delicacy, and goes through everything so "seriously". Anyways, amazing character, in many kinds of ways. Naeka is a decent character. Sleeps really deeply, zero ability to do housework, throws knives around, funny stuff here too. Oh, and bouncy breasts. The other side characters are bad either, but nothing great compared to Kogarashi. Fubuki is the character to tame Kogarashi, beating him to a pulp with a nailed bat. Nice character here too. Yeah, great show. Looking forward to future episodes! Preview: New characters, more fun.
