It just seems odd though for her to be giving lectures when she's still in school herself, though.

As affectionately named by me and several friends, she's a 'Tsundereist'.

Seeing how she's mentioned to be an exceptional genius, it's possible that she's already working on her doctorate studies. And for that, you can actually get paid for your research if it benefits a company or something, and being called as a guest lecturer is possible at all. That being said, I remembered her saying that her parents are still paying for her living costs in Japan...

I think she doesn't plan to stay in Japan that long, just visiting to give lectures and things like that. However, upon meeting Okarin and his time machine she's very interested, and take a break to stay longer in order to experiment with it them both.

And yeah, she's my favorite character too. The perfect example of the type of tsundere I like, not to mention being smart (and not just in the genius sense, but she's also witty especially when with Okarin)

So, who wants to bet that pretty soon she'll be joining Okarin's efforts to save Mayuri?

Considering she figured something was up every time he made a leap, it's only a matter of time before he finally tells her.

Who know, It's only a matter of time before we (hopefully) set off FLAGS for the Kurisu Route

I'm hoping so.

Unless if she can't be saved. ;__;

Well when Okabe learns that he can't just simply try to run away with Mayuri, then he will probably resort to other tactics to see what effects they will have. Probably telling the lab members and see what they will do/say. Something that still confuses me is when Suzuha keeps saying that Makise Kurisu is a SERN spy.. If Suzuha was able to predict that SERN was going to make their move against the lab members that helped Okabe time leap. Then was she merely being too cautious around Kurisu when it was actually Moeka that was the SERN spy?

Suzuha was acting on knowledge she knew from her future, and not from what she knew at the present time; hence, she probably knows that in her future, Kurisu works for SERN, hence she comes back into the past thinking Kurisu has always worked for SERN.

lol, that'd probably take a divergence of like 5% and even then you still might not get there...

Rintaro and Kurisu are basically the two most "complete" characters of the show - moreover, complete with a different public and private behaviours

they don't feel as "animeish" (stereotyped) as - say Feiris, or... "niche" as Mayuri or Moeka. it's only natural to feel simpalthy for them. they're not just "the most likeable" or "the most accomplished"

they are "quite believable" for an anime. they alone would - indeed - suffice to justify a live adaptation.

Feiris is actually just as doable as Okabe, since her "front" is also just an act like Okabe, she has her Rumiho personality underneath to flush her character out. Whether her Feiris personality is *tolerable* as a live action character OTOH is quite debatable.

Mayuri though is a pretty standard airhead moe character, hardly anything niche about her and she's the least believable of the lot if taken out of the anime plain.

Moeka, love or hate her, is actually a fairly refreshing take on the "stoic" type, but I can actually see her being adapted into a live adaptation and still work, as I think her type of character (poor at human interactions and relies on other method of communication) has been done before in some films, possibly sci-fi.

Now Kurisu still has a touch of that anime tsundere in her to make her completely believable, but other than that she is easily adaptable to live action.

The only real flaw with Feyris is that while she has a true personality beneath her mask, we don't see it developed in the show the way Okabe and Kurisu get development; we only see flashes of her true self and thoughts in her focus episodes as opposed to throughout the whole series. Unless a live action version would focus more on her.
