I kinda prefer the first OP song but second one is fine too.
Seems like this entire season may be about the tournament. So far, I'm not really impressed by Ayato and Julis' opponents yet but we'll see. Those twin girls looks like they're looking for trouble.

Yep, endless tournament arc with the same pattern as the previous season which is Ayato and the rest vs a bunch of jobbers. Nothing new or interesting so far, also Ayato is one of the worst MC's ever, really close to Ichika levels of bad.
I prefer the OP of the first season too, it was much better than this one. As for the animation keeps the same QUALITY so there is no much improvement but the backgrounds on certain scenes were really good. It was interesting how the japanese audience reacted to this first episode, because it was even worse than the first episode of the previous season (by the way I'm talking about the streaming). |

I'm suprised that I was so excited to have this show return. First episode was pretty decent with going straight into the action. I'm also loving the OP and ED way more than the first season in terms of songs and the animation themselves.
Only complaint I have was that there was no Claudia. |

Seemed like a solid return for the show. Sure their opponents weren't high tier, but with Ayato's condition for this episode even Jobbers would be hard to handle. I say props to Julis for a solid strategy and plan. Worked out pretty well and credit to both for taking the punishment in that fight needed to make it work. They had to take some solid hits in order to get everything in the ideal position.
They've certainly come a fair way in terms of their teamwork and trust. If nothing else the next match seems to be full of fun times. Those twins seem plenty frustrating to deal with. Not exactly an ideal matchup for someone like Ayato who is under a time restriction for his fights. They can't let those two drag out the match. And since we're this far in the tournament can keep the focus on some really tough matchups. Curious as well to see how Kirin and Saya do since they are bound to get a crazy matchup soon. Hopefully that maid isn't going to be annoying though... Overall I kind of like the first season's OP/ED more, but I'll live with these for the second season.

What im excited to see is,

The op pretty much pack with many spoilers, did i just saw the final gattai form of AR-D and RM-C against Ayato? Amazingly to see episode 1 was specially fast pace also. The announcer voiced by Aoi Yuki not bad at all. Just watched both raws(an early watch) and with subs(in HD), found some fault in the subs and the subs a bit lacking but not wrong at all. Can't complain because its free after all and japanese sometimes is hard to be translated. Is it just me or Flora's voice is weird =.=? her voice almost pierce my eardrum lol.

New OP is awesome, new ED isn't as good as the first one but the visuals are better and the song itself isn't bad per se. The 2nd cour started pretty strong imo, the battle was definitely not just random "oh I'm op Ayato so i win". They had to use some actual strats this time which I really like to see. No tsun from Julis, people can't complain about her now. Animation looks solid, I don't know what some people expect. This isn't ufotable (and even ufotable isn't flawless). And for people who don't seem satisfied with the focus on the tournament, I have no idea what they expect either. It is what it is.
More importantly, green haired loli in maid outfit with a flowery name. UUUOOOOH （ ´Д｀）
