Listened to the newest single of Girls Dead Monster...

Prefer the previous single than this one.
But, Highest Life is a good song (actually the only one i enjoy out of 3 songs)

i'm pretty sure i like Crow Song better than the three new ones. that's not to say i don't enjoy the new cd though.

For me I'd say I like most so far of the girls dead monster songs in order:
Thousand Enemies > Crow Song > Rain Song = Alchemy > My Song > Highest Life.

I really love Thousand Enemies, and Crow Song

, and I even like Highest Life pretty well. Though Highest Life reminds of some other anime's ending theme that's name slips mind currently[I think it was a bleach one, hmm].

If it's just the 3 singles collected... I wish I knew that before I bought the first 2 singles, because now I'm going to end up buying the third single, and I'll have spent almost twice as much as the album costs on them. I don't regret buying them; it's just that I could really have used a spare $30 this month... XD

I wouldn't compare the songs, as a musician at least :P
They are all great IMO expect My Song, though only because I didn't connect to it, it's a great song too, just not my style.

Sorry for the double post, but I have to say, I really really love the OST of Angel Beats, it's amazing, the vocals the bass part and the music is so good!

So, I've been listening to the new single...
Thousand Enemies is easily my favourite track on it. I really like the melody, and the lyrics are pretty good too. Apart from the opening and ending, it's probably my favourite song in the show so far.
Rain Song is not too bad either. I think I liked Crow Song and Alchemy more, though.
Highest Life... Well, it's good... for 3 minutes and 50 seconds. After that it just got annoying. I'd like it a lot more if those last 2 minutes and 36 seconds weren't there, and the song just ended with the "Sayonara to arigatou"-line.

Are there any transcriptions for Piano or Bass? I'm looking for bass: some Angel Beats songs, tabs or notes, and I'm looking for the OP for the Piano probably in notes

Very pleased to hear the soundtrack has a release date now. I wouldn't say it's Maeda's best work, though there's some seriously good pieces here and there. Especially in this weeks (episode 7) episode.
