I did this contest for the comic Evolution in 2023. Took me about 8 hours total. Of course, the contestants were given the original line-art and told to color it.

I like the character design, and colors seem to very well made. Hair could maybe use some more highlight, but I like it how it is too.. Good work.

it's really cool, but it took you 8 hours for just the coloring? I like your coloring, but i know people who can color in like 1-4 hours, and they do it really damn good. But i like it anyway.

hehe. I use a pretty bad method that I'm gonna have to change. I select way too often, when I could easily just use my tablet. Like, selecting his hair in frame one took me quite some time, like 20 minutes. I guess I could work faster if I really wanted to, but it's not like I had other things to do at the time...

Now that I look back on it, I don't see how that took 8 hours... Let me see... no, it was shorter than that, probably closer to 5 or 6.
