Tap does his translations on his blog, before transfering them over to baka-tsuki. Chapter 5 was finished yesterday..

Volume's not out yet, chapter wise it's past Ch 8 I think considering the latest summary just has the initial Human v. Dark Territory fight.

Also I have a question. If the Human world had a year to prepare, why didn't they evacuate the outlying villages into more inland cities before the invasion started?

I also would like to ask. Is it mentioned in the web novel why kirito can't execute sword skills of more than 4 consecutive hits during his study in the master sword academy? Does it have to do with that authority thingy?

No I think it had to do with the quality of his sword. The black sword only allows him to execute up to 4 consecutive hits, he needs a better sword to do more hits.

They didn't have a year to prepare, only 6 months. And if the Synthesis Knights had failed in defending the Eastern Gate after blocking off the rest of the entrances into Human Kingdom, no matter if the evacuation happened or not they'd all die.

Kirito didn't have a high enough level in UW to pull off more than 4 hits at that time. Whether it's STR level or system authority, I'm not sure.

From what I heard, the web version was on the author's website but was taken down by the author when he started officially publishing the Light Novel so it is no longer there but some people here are providing small summaries because some managed to save the files on their computers before everything was erased.

Cool. Hey, if you've read it, can you tell me how much "toned" up is the webnovel compared to the LN. For example, was Sugou even more disgusting than in the LN Novel?

What other diferences do yo remember?
