But for now, you can just see this as my "view" on the Ghoul.

Do us all a favor, and DON'T quote the Viz translation. The original fansub is that he's become ghoul-like, i.e. is a mindless killing machine. However, he's far from a re-animated corpse... which is why most of us use the term Berserk Vampire

@ Shin Tsu: Yeah, like Magin said, just because it's official in the english translation that viz uses, doesn't mean it's necessarily correct in it's original context. I would actually believe a fan scanlation from a reputable group over anything put out commercially, because the meddling of the editors in the commercial stuff tend to lose things in the translation just so they don't have to write down anything extra to explain certain things in afterward pages.

On the matter of Tsukune ... well if we go along with what was provided in the manga, so far ... then we can't really tell what Tsukune currently is, since in the manga Tsukune is still considered a human.

Still, there are some pretty obvious facts that point out that Tsukune has changed and can't be considered as a normal human anymore, which makes me think that ... currently Tsukune already "physically" became a human / Shinso vampire even if Tsukune hasn't been able to take control over the full extent of his vampire abilities.

In my opinion the reason why Tsukune is at a risk of becoming a "berserk vampire" is, because so far Tsukune hasn't obtained a mental state that would allow him to take control over the vampire instincts present in Tsukune's Shinso blood, which to me ... are the reason why Tsukune's power's go out of control ... from time to time.

Simply saying Tsukune's current mentality isn't strong enough to take control over the vampire instincts present in his Shinso blood ... and as result of that, the uncontrolled vampire instincts try to take over Tsukune's body instead ... and that's why ... as long as Tsukune's mental development, in controlling his vampire abilities, doesn't reach a stage ... where Tsukune will be able to take control over the vampire instincts present in his Shinso blood ... he will still be at a risk of degenerating into a "Ghoul-like state" ... losing his sanity in the process ...

Yeah, they take the lazy way out. However I have seen an official translation that is better at times. It all comes down to how good the translator and proofreader are. It's really sad that most of the stuff you pay for is worse than the free stuff.

I like the idea of Tsukune being a Human/Shinso Hybrid, of course, its true, but unannounced. I hope his Shinso blood awakens in the next few chapters.

I just wonder what the new Cover will look like..., i hope its a Akasha, Moka or even a Tsukune one.

Oh wow, this is what I get for watching 'Kings of Comedy' - what if the R+V cast...(or any other anime for that mattter) was black....XDDD Seriously, i might have to do a parody for that just because it's so funny to me. It would be played for laughs - just imagine a 'Madea' thrown into it and you could imagine the absolute storm that would cause.

And I'll say this right off the bat before anyone gets 'offended'- I don't care!!

So on a completely random note, some people I know over at college were watching the first few episodes of the anime... and I first raged, and then cried over how much potential the first season had that was ruined, and how downhill the second also goes... I think if I force myself to at least watch clips from the anime, I'll start wanting to work on the fanfic again...

Well, one of the guys said he'd read some of the manga (past thwe witch's hill arc), and saw the differences, but is able to treat the two as completely different things (note- he hadn't seen any of the second season), and he others hadn't read any of the manga. I told them to finish off all the anime, and THEN read the manga, to spare themselves unbearable pain and agony (then again... I half suspect only those as dedicated as us would experience that level of pain, but you never know)
