So for those who have read the manga, how about a little speculation on how this anime is going to play out?

If we have 7 episodes left it would be ridiculous for them to go past chapter 24, unless they are going to do an anime specific ending. Just like orion said, given the last scenes in the OP it could go that way.

I don’t remember seeing anything like that in the manga unless they changed the appearance of the whole Cassie Lockheart/invasion arc, but there is no time for that now!

It would make more sense to bring the cause of the entire story back into play before the episodes run out.



Following the manga though, we are now about to enter chapter 13…

but the first part of that chapter has already been covered in episode 3.

And given the preview for episode 6...

we will at least see Ganessa fight Rana with Arnette and Creo watching, and probably Atia starting the fight between Rana and Satellizer.

But do you think they will include the flashback to Satellizer at East Genetics? I don’t think they will include the honorifics part, although it would be fun to see.

Oh wait, that’s only 11 episodes, what did I miss? Do you think they will spread out a fight over 2 episodes for once?

Probably the rematch 4 way to 1.5 episodes and the last half of episode 11 being Chiffon stopping it, Satellizer yelling at Kazuya, and Chiffon talking to Elizabeth/Elizabeth talking to 3rd years.

Or we go back to the anime specific ending. Any thoughts?

After reading the manga and seeing how the anime is going, I have this feeling...It's another thing that feels like Claymore.

Spoiler for Chapter 38:

Annette seems to be nicer now to Satellizer. Makes sense since the two fought alongside each other and Satellizer saved the 3rd year's life. Then again, my opinion of Annette improved when she deliberately took the blow meant for Genessa a while back.

But Elizabeth and Atia are a different story. I don't think they are nicer, just less obviously hostile because Chiffon got them to knock-off the attempts at beating on Satellizer. But Elizabeth has never given up on ultimately taking Satellizer down a peg or two or more, and it looks like they gone to simply one-up her on small things.

But Lana was completely hilarious in the chapter.

I got more liking of some of the minor characters in the series so far than the main. But it's sad that some of them have already dropped out of sight and I'm only read up to Chapter 38.

I find it hard for the anime to not have an ending specific to itself - unless they have a sequel hook for another season to cover another arc worth of chapters. Not to mention they have already diverged a lot from the manhwa.

I would love to see one of the other characters that make their real appearance in one of the later chapters

I can see a cliff hanger for future episodes happening.

I don't think the anime has varied very far off the manwha. They changed Lana's introduction and moved up the lab analysis of Aoi. Aside from that, it's pretty much the same story line.

You also forgot they took out a huge chunk of Ingrid's story out of the question, and made Kazuya a total wimp without even throwing his punch at the sophomores in episode 5 that he did to the punks on the street, and made him more dependent on wanting to see his sister again that makes him your basic weak lead.

The anime is more focused on the girls. As we were afraid of, and expected, it's turning into a service centered series. It's not as bad as Omamori Himari, but it's still disappointing.

BTW, how many chapters are out in the manhwa right? Chapter 59 was the end of Volume 9 and Volume 10 is coming at month's end, plus they are always a couple chapters ahead in the monthly prints than the chapter counts in the tankobon volumes.

I can't read a lot of Japanese but looking at Vol. 9 and reading the summaries of the chapters posted earlier makes things very interesting.

Most of the males in the story aren't worth a pot to piss in. Kazuya is only a head above because he's a Stigma freak. The focus is pretty much geared toward the females anyway...

After reading chp 38 I demand that the anime include not only the drinking competition between Satellizer and Elizabeth but they damn sure better include the later part of Kazuya having to somewhat undress her and commenting on how shapely western women are while basically popping one off.

I think i heard Kazuya's balls drop during that scene.
