Oh, I have a question:

Since the reality marble is a refleaction of one's core being in physical manifestation, would disrupting it cause harm to the user?
Btw, I heard Shirou's was always active but never realized it.

Well, I'm just going off what I've heard here, but you're correct in assuming that RMs are always on; Shirou, for example, only needs Rin's large mana "pump" to give him the mana to expand the influence of his reality marble past his body, which results in the manifestation of the graveyard of swords of Unlimited Blade Works. As for disrupting a reality marble, I've read somewhere that Arcueid used sheer brute force to escape from Nero Chaos' RM, but I've no idea of the specifics of the event.

For Saber's Noble Phantasm, I always took it that Caliburn was her first sword and then it was later 'fixed', thus Excaliburn sans the 'n'. But IIRC, Shirou has a glimpse of Caliburn in his sleep in episode one or two. So I think it'll appear in the Berserker fight in the anime.

1. Saber uses Excalibur because Caliburn is broken. What I was referring to was the similarities in their names, and the fact that I theorized that Excalibur is a fixed Caliburn. As for your second question... in case you don't want to know the answer to the tracing Caliburn bit...

heres my new question, concerning what i read from the game synopsis:

in FATE's arc, Saber went back to redo her life, since she cant live with Shirou and others since shes already alive back than when she made an pact with the Holy Grail. but heres my question: In UBW's arc, theres a GOOD ending where Rin kept Saber as a servant and they all lived happily ever after. I mean comon...in FATE Saber return to her life-time, and in UBW, shes still in Shirou's generation?!?!?

Other way around. Excalibur is the new name for Caliburn, if you go by my theory. I'm speaking more of the Arthurian legends in general then Fate/stay night though. They could be two completely different swords in Fate.

In some legends, Caliburn was the legendary Sword in the Stone that King Arthur pulled as proof of his right to become King. This sword would later be broken and Merlin would take Arthur to see the Lady of the Lake, where he would be given the Excalibur (a completely different sword) as a replacement, which would then be entrusted to Beldivere to return to the Lady of the Lake just prior to King Arthur's death.

In some other legends, Caliburn and the Lady of the Lake never existed, and Excalibur was the Sword in the Stone instead.

Fate/stay night uses the first legend.

Yet in still OTHER legends, after Arthur's sword is broken it's thrown into the lake and the Lady of the Lake then gives him Excalibur. This is the similar to the version I read in school when I was reading background on La Mort d'Arthur in English. I was using this to come up with a believable example as to why Caliburn and Excalibur are very similar words.

What I was saying was that I was theorizing and that it should not be taken as Fate canon, hence the "I'm speaking of the Arthurian legends in general". I thought that was readily apparent.

Are the characters all really there, or are they not really there? I ask this since Avenger seems to get sugar from the gals and, well... it'd feel weird if he did that while Shiro was out of the picture.

They're all there. Some people might say that the whole thing was "fake" or "a dream" because the whole "promised 4 days" was just something that Avenger created, but for what it's worth, everything that happened during it is real (the only fake would be Avenger taking Shirou's role). When the "puzzle" was finally completed, though, it's the end for Avenger (and his world) as he returns to nothingness. After Bazette wakes up, she and Karen are probably the only ones who are aware of what happened during those (bunches) of 4 days.

With the exception of the H-scene with Karen, all the other H-scenes in hollow ataraxia are standalone events unrelated to the hollow ataraxia story that can be watched by choosing "Eclipse" in the main menu (you "earn" them by completing certain other events during the main story). Simply put, Avenger has nothing to do with any of the Eclipse events.

do anyone know if this anime will go according to the endings from the game? or can the people that make this anime change it slightly, in favor of F/SN's fans? i sorta figure out that they wont lean towards fanservice sort of stuff, just asking for some thoughts and all that..dont know if this question belongs in this thread..plz feel free to re-direct elsewhere, thank you.

Hmmm..... I would like to see the Unlimited Blade Works, should be nice. I'm imagining it like when Ichigo from Bleach did his Ban Kai training, all the swords were lying about. What is the Fate ending like though?
