It becomes obvious once they all flood in and there are groups like AonE-Menclave and Shinsen-Subs there, who as far as I know never sub things like this.

Also, I'm pretty sure Ayako hasn't ever done 720p. They didn't with Kannagi.

Some people hate popular things, especially trolls, and I can imagine a lot of people not liking [putting it mildly] these types of anime, and, well...
No, you see, it's more like the other way around. Sure, some people certainly have a stupid hate for certain types of things that don't deserve such hate--but others are simply in it for the reaction. You know, the actual definition of trolling is just that--trolling for a reaction. You don't believe what you do or say. You just want to piss the other person off... it's actually the oldest trick in the book, and it predates the internet for centuries.

And if you get pissed off enough to bring down a whole website, well, you need help.

Those AREN'T cases of child pornography. Those are cases of authority figures abusing the letter of the law to throw children in prison to make a 'point'.

This CAN be fun, but it's also very stupid and makes you look stupid.

And I agree, DDOS-ing an entire website is kinda over the top.

Here's a quick timeline just from what I've seen:
K-On airs -> /a/ is filled to the brink with pro posts. (spanning multiple pages of just K-on) -> the janitors start deleting stuff -> K-on pro side gets pissed off and starts posting as many possible threads as possible / people start trolling it because of its excess -> (non-ddos) flood from pro-side -> (ddos) flood from anti-side. -> fake torrents appear -> (repeat)

The next time I hear someone say, 'Think of the children...' I'm going to shove something into a very dark and rather damp place. Hypocrites.

Their point is made, they only want to give the semblance of protecting children when actually they're a bunch of conservative whack-jobs.

Yet certain affiliates of 4chan do it all the time...

Watched the ED song first since everyone said it's good.

The animation for the ED is quite impressive, it's like watching a fashion show hehe. Kind of reminded me one of Avril's MV. The song itself is nothing fancy, but with the animation, it's embedded into fan's mind. The song will sell~

I think this thread is adding posts faster than I can read them, I hope this keeps up tomorrow morning, then I can completely avoid doing any real work

Just watched the raw, though, and it looks promising so far - of course, the average Japanese six-month old probably knows more Japanese than I got out of an extension class I took a couple years ago, but the story's easy enough to follow anyway. The OP and ED are catchy, Yui looks like she should be an entertaining heroine to watch, and while I wasn't busting a gut laughing, series like this usually grow on me after a couple episodes once I get to know the characters and their quirks better.

I think it's just the character designs, but I kept getting this feeling like I'm watching Kannagi and expecting Nagi to show up any second...

Never thought /a/ would be the sort of people to actually like this kind of show at all.

I'm not going to even bother with a snarky comment. They're all fake.

And the number keeps increasing.

Usually people think the anti-fan are the one to blame, but the fan is also one of the reason that thing went overboard.

Anyway, we're not here to complaining, aren't we?

[edit]
If you're looking for the torrent, I recommend TV-J.

This is because most corners of 4chan are dumb.

I never laugh out loud at shows like this anyway, but I certainly find them cute and funny.

Just from hearing about it, I think I'll like K-On. Hell, I liked Lucky Star, even though I complain about it a lot.

I dunno, I don't think it's nearly as good. Not enough DANCING and ENERGY.

Then again I don't like the ED anyway.

They're not the ones being passionate about it, which means they have a lot of emotional detachment from it. As long as it remains fun, they'll do it. Once it starts being boring, they'll drop it immediately.

But the guys on the other side, getting angry over stupid stuff, they certainly aren't having a good time. And they're so emotionally attached to something so trivial as an anime series that they actually do tedious stuff like DDOSing a website in order to take "revenge".

In a way, though I find both sides rather pointless, the trolls are smarter than the ones who feed them.

It's about this time that I start thinking that Rorschach should visit these people's homes and break their fingers.

That would be both entertaining for us and educational for them.

Just saw the opening and the ending. The opening was blah-average, but I thought the ending had style.

Edit: 53 people viewing the thread.
