Well, that is really interesting. But there's only one way left for us, wait and see, because playing the speculation game will not help with anything but burn out any remaining hype at this moment.

To me it seems as though they are pumping up this rebroadcasting strictly in order to reignite the flames of interest in Haruhi because they realize it has been quite awhile since it first came out. It's all meant to recapture as much interest in the franchise as possible in preparation for whenever they actually do announce the full details of the 2nd season (I figure this might be either just before or right at the end of this new rebroadcasting).

It seems that K On's going to be KyotoAni's project for April. I believe it starts April 2.

Ah, I'm in the mood for a music anime. This is probably the KyoAni announcement that I'm most excited about.

Lower your expectations on the music parts. That's all I have to say.

Well at least early on the guess is that they can't really play their instraments...so I'd expect really bad music at first (though not sonic distruption level bad), then later on better stuff, then if KyoAni wants to outdo themselves, a rocking concert.

Ah, so you mean the typical music anime where everyone isn't extremely excellent in the beginning? That's nothing new to me.

Another example might be the live-action movie "Swing Girls" --- o god the horror when they first take up their instruments. Makes every improvement they have deeply appreciated.

They could just take the route that Kurenai did for its musical episode...

Kotomi's violin playing in Clannad was also pretty epic but I think the "makes small animals pass out" gag might get old fast.

I half want Planetarian animated but half don't because I'm afraid a masterpiece would be ruined.

So far KyoAni has a steller record with adaptations so there's no reason that they'd hiccup with something that is their home field, like KEY games.

I hope they'll propose to do for Key's One, so much for Clannad for being epic there.

Dangit, they really like to make "moe" animes dont they... Would be nice if it was a romance/drama/comedy type series that they have always excel in.

Surely, they will be considering to make Planetarian.

They tried to do a non strictly moe series last season.....there were.....problems. Let's just say that it's probably best they stick to what they are good at.

Well, Planetarian is quite weird. It's not a "Key harem." I'd rather them tackle One and LB first, or actually anything that they've done before. I pretty much at least like everything they've done so far (that I've watched, which excludes Munto). Another Lucky Star-like anime wouldn't be too bad.

However, if they continue to juice the Clannad series some more, I dunno...
