Its back up!
Ok, about to leave to Japan in less than 3 hours, I'm unhappy that all my previous translations and such from the offical BBS were deleted. I guess, it couldn't be helped.
Spoiler for episode 9:

Probably Hina and Kanaria will be the next to go. This will leave Shinku to stand against Bara Suisho or Sugintou. Probably Bara. This based only upon general principal in action animes - the main hero/heroine defeats the main villain. It would be kind of interesting to have Sugintou and Shinku tag team Bara.

I wish suigintou had been drawn more like that last pic. Her eyes are too squinty as they are - you know, the traditional small pupils for the evil male character thing, but on a female character instead (ok, so they're pink/purple rather than a tiny black dot, but nevertheless the point remains that they look horrible).

I don't see why people like Sugintou so much.
She's heartless and cold and she's trying to kill the others! Is there something in the manga I'm missing because Sugintou is just pissing me off especially from the most recent episode. |

You and me both. I can't stand her. As I mentioned before, the laugh, the smile, the general attitude combine to make something I would cheerfully throw on a bonfire and watch burn with a gleeful smile on my face. Bara would join her, it has to be said. Get rid of them and the others could live peaceful and happy lives with Jun and Shinku

She's drawn better in the manga and doesn't look quite as evil, but if she acts the way in the manga the way she does in the anime, I don't see why people don't hate her.
The thread that was wiped had "gin-sama" this and "gin-sama" that and proclaimed episode six like it was the second coming. |

Gin1 Gin2 Gin3 Gin4 Yeah, I must admit that Gin's character in the most recent episodes is a little awkward. Gin fans in season 1 probably like her for having a "bewitching" presence, but the most recent episode of her is a little too extreme on the aggressiveness. (Btw, since when did large images become allowed?? I'm just linking these because, I thought it takes too much space.) |

I think images are fine as long they don't stretch the thread horizontally. And if it's does stretch, I simply use the spoiler tags. In another news, Bara needs more love. Spoiler:

I have the first volume of the manga up to volume 2. I do agree the dolls look better. Hina Ichigo looks a bit better drawn and seems a bit cuter.
Gin looks a bit more like a doll. Hopefully I can get the manga somehow. |

*Chuckle* I wonder, when was it exactly that one of the most reoccuring, central debates about this show spanning these two seasons became Suigintou? A long long time ago I made a post in season 1's thread about my first impression of Suigintou's eyes--the pain and conflicted personality reflected therein--that struck me as extremely intriuging, which struck a chord with a few people I believe.
I didn't start calling Suigintou Gin-sama and photoshopping propaganda for her until this season though. Afterall, its not often that the fans get what they want. Season one already deviated from the manga by destroying Gin-Sama; and for them to seemlessly reintroduce in such magnificent fashion is nothing short of remarkable. |
