White, wierd dressed, but cute. ^^
I didn't like him before i read the manga though..
I don't LURVE him, but he's cool.

quite frankyly im amazed how this forum is cuz the topic is about "sai" but who do people talk about naruto or sasuke. Yet no mod has stepped in

i dont like sai cuz he said something to naruto that made naruto go emo
i dont like sai cuz he looks like sasuke.

i like sai cuz he remind me of what ninjas are and he is funny cuz he says what he thinks. and i like the fact that he dont feel anything at all. Point being he aint like other characters i have seen so far thus he is unique which for me brought more depth to the show. He kinda reminds me of haku though. anyway at first when i hadnt seen anything of sai and only heard his name cuz he was to appear i thought it would be a lame char instead it was really a good char. So id sai kishi did a good job finding someone yall hate again.

Ok im not saying this to offend anyone its just my opinion but I think people who dislike sai cuz he aint like the char they like are basically like naruto and turning into or copying naruto or something. I like sasuke as a character but i dont dislike sai cuz he said sasuke is a gay i actaually laughed about it.

Anyway i havent read much solid arguments motivations. Pretty sad

Well, he's an interesting person...Not really knowing how to smile...and everything..alwayys saying Naruto has a small dick..it's rather...werid...but he's very interesting as to how he acts.

His personality tend to annoy me, but I tolerate him. My opinion of him did change from bad to good and I think he's a pretty interesting character.

I don't really see any similarities between him and Sasuke apart from the fact that there's probably as many people who like him as there is who hates him.

People who like Sasuke hates Sai
People who hate Sasuke likes Sai

heehe for sure one thing is he resemble Gin from Bleach when he smile with his fake looking chinky eyes smiley..overall..i think hes aight and kewl..and funni yet mysterous type..i do agree he dress like a girl and hes too white compare to naruto and sakura though..hahaha. a funni think i like about Sai is that he always talking about d*ck to naruto =D

Sai certainly isn't on my top ten list, but he is interesting. At least, his interactions with the rest of the group are fun to watch, makes for some laughs. His no emotioness is great and gives him his own spot in the story. As several others have stated, he is a better version of sasuke, a much better version.

In some shots Sai looks totally wierd. It could just be the emo look he is sporting, i dunno. At the moment he seems like an empty shell (ie no personality) but i dont think that will last long.

Spoiler for Manga Sai:

I can see Sai coming out of his shell and actually showing a personality. And I also think that Naruto will have a friendship with him. Hard to believe i know, but it feels similar to how he felt about sasuke except for the rivalry part of it. Sai will warm up to Naruto and visa versa.

Spoiler for Manga Sai: In my opinion, I can see Danzou getting really pissed of with Naruto and Co. for introducing true emotions (hate, anger, happiness) to Sai. Just being around Naruto, Sai has remembered the happiness once experienced. I can see Sai showing more emotions I can see Sai coming out of his shell and actually showing a personality.
