Hey guys, its been a while since ive come here, and i tought i would ask for your help.

I've been searching for an action packed anime where the main character has sudden personality changes or split personalities or hiddes he's/hers abilities. For example:

Rurouni kenshin: when he goes hitokiri mode;
Kenichi : when he goes all out when their beloveds are hurt;
Naruto : kyubii mode;
Shura No toki: all of them seem pretty weak but quickly turn the opposite
Tenjo tenge : when Masataka Takayanagi turns into beast

Hope it helps you solve my problem

Medaka Box though it doesn't appear til late in the first season really.

Miyaki from Bamboo Blade fits perfectly

It is a sport anime about kendo with some nice action scenes.

Deadmand Wonderland - one of the main charas has split personality. Another likes to pretend.

Elfen Lied - main heroine has split personality ( cute and sadistic murderer)

Ga-Rei Zero - because of some circumstances, one of the main heroines has 2 personalities, loving and sinister.

Guilty Crown - Shun has sudden personality change in later half of the series.

Mai HiME - several characters went through personality change.

Mirai Nikki - I guess Yuno would fit.

Rosario + Vampire - in this case I strongly recommend manga since anime is more about fanservice than story and ruined a lot of things. Main heroine has visible personality change once Rosalie is taken off.

There's also Aria the Scarlet Ammo. The hero Kinji has incredible power, but he rarely shows it because he finds the personality changes that come with it embarrassing. The power is connected to the instinct to fight for/protect a mate, and to turn them on he has to get himself turned on, and then along with power he also turns into a disgustingly suave casanova. Most of the time Kinji would do anything to avoid this state, but in desperate situations he's been known to kiss a girl long and hard until it does the trick.

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls
character you're looking for here is Yagyuu Jubei. On normal occasions, she's just a clumsy girl with zero fighting abilities. If she gets kissed by the main character, she turns into a Master Samurai with over 9000 fighting prowess that comes with a totally different personality. lol
its 2nd season is currently airing too, Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride

Tohyama Kinji has another personality which he calls "Hysteria Mode". Poster above me explains it already so I won't say any more
