One of my favourite names in anime, and Japan itself, is Daisuke. I like the way that it is pronounced. I also like the names Lelouch, Ryuzaki, (A)Kira, Narumi, Miu, and Light. I would love to be named Light, 'tis unusual yet godly.

Yeah I thought Sekai was a beautiful name. Her explanation of it in the anime was rather cute too.
As for favourite names... I won't say anything like Yubiseiharukana because even though it's meaning is nice, the name is just too bloody long... However I'm really fond of Tsugumi and Kaname. And as Leo said, Sousuke Sagara is just bad ass.

Everybody is wrong.
The best anime character name is obviously Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (ボボボーボ・ボーボボ) Spoiler for Bobobo:

I prefer Vi Britania because it shows he is a prince of the Empire of Britania. That alone makes it better than Lamperouge.
EVen so, it might be more fun to say Lamperouge ^^ But I stick with Lelouch Vi Britania ^^

It probably does not count as an anime name as it is a novel, but I adored some of the names in the Death Note: Another Note novel.
Beyond Birthday Quarter Queen Backyard Bottomslash ..et cetera They sound like names from a Harry Potter novel. |
