Neither of them are going to die, the theme is to surpass and save, having any of Sasuke or Naruto die would destroy the whole premise of the series.

the thing i like most about this is that gai's final gate was so powerful that even madara was still fked once naruto came with his power up

true, naruto has the rikudo power, but i don't think it was enough to overwhelm madara just like that. maybe at least match madara's power

i also wonder if naruto has better senjutsu than madara because he has literally all of the bijuu chakra, while madara has all but the kyubii's yang side

which also makes me wonder if the juubi was split into yin and yang, and that the rikudo brother has half inside him ( or maybe the rikudo brother sacrificed himself to seal kaguya into the tree)

hey this filler arc is awesome! it's the best naruto filler ever by far. i like it more than most of this war canon stuff. although i do want to see what you mentioned of course. but i can wait

Not that anyone cares, but I thought that it was funny that Tenten was completely written out of the past 10 chapters even though she was with Gai and Lee. Some were saying she was going to show up with the fan and gourd. But now that is not happening with the mains fighting. When Kishi loves a character, like Gai, he goes all out and plays favorites. When he doesn't care for a character, they get Tentened.

Well it had your favorite character in it. But I admit I haven't watched an episode. I imagine they have to be getting back to canon or doing different filler soon. This has to be some sort of record for not having the main character be part of any filler.

It really is a good filler arc. I gave up watching the anime after Naruto and Sasuke met again for the first time in Part 2. I've watched a few episodes I wanted to see animated (Naruto vs Pain, Naruto meeting his mother, Madara making his appearance and owning the alliance), but I haven't actually wanted to sit and watch an entire arc in a long time. This particular filler has been the best arc in Shippuden, and one of the best arcs over all.

Nah. I've liked it since the first episode. Itachi's only been in it for the last 2 or 3 episodes. it's been mostly kakashi and yamato, but also akatsuki origins, danzo, orochimaru and shisui which have all been badass. the danzo and shisui parts are better than the manga

Obito said he had a request as a enemy, maybe he wants her to destroy the eye so madara cant get it.

It would be awesome for kakashi to get the eye as a replacement for his going blind eye(if it is in fact going blind) Maybe take both his eyes and replace kakashis while destroying the other. who really knows. I hope we find out soon.

My question is, now that the 1st is released from the black bars, what will he do?

Or hell, maybe they'll use Ninja Magic to somehow merge Obito's Mangekyo eye with Kakashi's to somehow give Kakashi the Eternal Mangekyo.

Seriously though, it'd probably help him a lot. Imagine Kakashi with Sharingan-based stuff's chakra cost massively decreased and with no more visual deterioration, able to spam Kamui and such without worry, maybe even able to use other Mangekyo techniques...
