So, I finaly catch up with the serie, which is damn good I must say. This episode was very good, at lesat I think so. The scene when Hakuoro disarmed his brother-in-law was incredible. Hakuoro just kicked his brother-in-law's ass.

The first part of the episode was good as well. Hakuoro and Eruruu makes a good couple.

Pretty good episode. Karura still kick ass, and Touka did a awesome job avoiding Hakuoro's gang.

But something (besides Nihue crazy laugh ) did bother me...

Spoiler:

Again, Hakuoro is a brilliant tactian and a good fighter, but he is dense as a turtle! How could him ask Eruru why she is at his side all the time??

Cute Hakuoro & Eruru close scene for the win. & not just that, but the main battle in this episode was enjoyable, something i've been wanting to see out of Uta' for a while now.

So it looks like the man with the worst laugh in history is back, & with one large army at that, should be good to see what happens.

& on a site note, but the art style for episode 14 looks a bit.. strange. >.<

Hmm... this series feels like it's going a bit downhill lately. The episodes are beginning to feel draggy, and it feels like nothing is really happening. It's hard to explain, really. I'm just not feeling the 'wow factor' I had in the beginning
I'll stick it out for a while longer in hopes that it'll pull itself back out.

Things were looking up for Eruruu when she made her plan of attack on Hakuoro when he was most vulnerable--miserable, lonely, and full of liquor. She moved in for the kill, but unfortunately for her, depression and alcoholism did little to push Hakuoro's stoicism. Unfortunately for Eruruu, it seems as if Hakuoro's strategy of keeping her hymen intact is as successful as his strategies in combat.

I am making assumptions, of course. Eruruu could have made love in the past. But with whom?

Oboro: I have a strong feeling he is not into females.
Kurou: Maybe. Eruruu could have acted as the "rebound girl" after numerous failed attempts with Karura.
Munto: I think Munto plays by the rules too much to have a roll in the hay with Eruruu. Even if that's not the case, his penis must be more shriveled than a prune due to the ravages of age.
Dorii: See Oboro.
Gura: See Oboro.
Benawi: See Munto. Minus the shriveled penis bit.
Shikinaro: Maybe. Perhaps he wanted to make good on his guarantee that Herapetta gives your partner enough stamina to last all night long.
Teoro: Maybe. Knowing his wife, he would have caught hell if he did something this wild. Perhaps she asked Orikakan to invade their village.

Isn't it sad, Eruruu?
Really, isn't it sad?

Actually, I even found that part underwhelming, too. The battle scene just sucked, so I was probably already turned off by then and therefore didn't think much more than: "Wow, that was weird. I wonder if that has anything to do with his weird visions in the first episode?"
I think it's falling into a formula. Battle scene + lots of character interaction + WTF?!? scene = episode.
I want to love this show; I really do. I was really impressed by how interesting it was in the beginning even though it looked like it'd be just another mediocre fantasy anime. I don't like being proven wrong

@Cardiac: Somehow I doubt Eruruu has given up on Hakuoro or Karura just yet

@ D a m i e n:

This is Nuwangi, Sasante's (adopted) son. He was raised with Eruruu but he changed when he went back to his father's side. When he returned to collect taxes from his childhood village he expressed his desire to have Eruruu as his wife, although the feeling is not reciprocated. And I don't think there was a marriage contract between the two, just Nuwangi's lust/unrequited love.

Karura is a former slave freed (with superhuman strength and impressive battle skills) by Hakuoro - whom she then swore fealty to, in repayment of his good deed. On top of being quite fond of alcohol (barrels of sake tend to instantly turn out empty when she's around), she also has a slightly mischievous/sarcastic nature as she likes to make fun of people. When Eruruu asked her to remove her clothes so that she could inspect her (Karura's) wounds, Karura asked if Eruruu was swinging that way - making a certain foxtailed girl quite flustered at the implication. Hence the (joking) comment a few posts above.

Did anyone else think that the evil emperor's laugh sounded like Mr. Crab from Sponge Bob square pants? Seriously, it bothered me.

Good episode overall. I wanted to see Karura lay down a beating on the Evinkuruga, but nooooooo....

Well we finally get to see Hakuoro and Eruruu get some well deserved alone time. Eruruu was not so shy this time and made a little move to my surprise. the love factor is there and out of everyone Eruruu is where Hakuoro strength lie along with Aruruu as well. Her saying that she will always be at his side no matter what and also saying that it doesnt matter who he is were word to snap him out of that depression. Watching Eruruu, Aruruu and Hakuoro on an outing was nice they looked like a real family and its something that he needed, i think he had almost lost sight of what he was trying to protect its not just all about him.

The plan to isolate the Evinkuruga was great i know people did not like the battle scene but i think that scene was not about the battle its self i think the focus was on Hakuoro pulling him self out of his depression and willing to accept the truth no matter what it was hence the trap at the begining of the battle and him running away. Pretty much every had the same thought about Rak Shine and we were right Hakuoro was not him however something else was reveled with the dark arua around him plus Mr smokers cough laughing emperor guy shooting an arrow through other emperor neck(rough day) plus he was under some spell whats this darkness that he was talking about inside Hakuoro and why is he trying to bring it out. I think everyone has to look behind whats going on i really dig the series mainly because of the charcters it was really easy to get into them. i think the next one is gong to good from the title looks like some serious shit gets stirred up and our heros might loose it all or at least the capital

Does anyone think everyone knows about Eruruus feelings for Hakuoro?

Im thinking that the Evinkuruga will join good guys now to avenge her emperor now the problem is does she still think that Hakuoro is Rak Shine or does she know the truth now

Please tell me this is not who i think it is http://www.badongo.com/pic/235732

It probably is, but it's probably just a dream or something of the like. Or that really does happen, but she is somehow saved. No creator is that dumb to kill off such a vital character to the show this early. Frankly I don't want her to be killed off period. Everyone else can die, but Eruruu lives on!
As far as the show goes it was pretty good 8/10, the scenes between Eruruu and Hakuoro were definitely priceless. And that one disarming move was sweet. The next episode preview did seem a little weird, but until I can actually see the whole episode I aint judging.

What I want to know is if Touka had a hand in razing Yamayura. If she did, then it is as she says, she can never undo her guilt. Good for her. In anycase, its sad to see that all those people died for.. nothing.

I liked this episode;

Aruruu: Yahooo~ =

Kamyu: Bleh =

Aruruu: It isnt lunchtime yet = WIN

You know, for all that talk about Hakuoro denying Eruruu, she as good as denied her feelings for him too; telling him that she stood by him because he was family, and then launching into a "no its nothing deeper" rhectoric. On her side, she still doesnt want to admit her feelings.

And I like how they put across Hakuoro's frustration and inward fear. I felt that the line: "To think I'd be frightened at who I may be" was quite poignant in this regard. Later tho, it seems he came to a conclusion; with saying: "I am myself". Still, it seems that he has a beast in him.

Anyhow, it feels like things are picking up. FatPianoBoy, I know what you mean about draggy and all, I felt that way for past episodes, but I think that this episode was alright all in all. Its improving a little imo, and I hope the subsequent episodes carrying on doing so too. Of course, more can always be desired, but why spoil the experience for yourself?

The laught of the evil dude was great http://rapidshare.de/files/25641700/lol1.wav.html
This alone would be worth a 10/10 rating. But the was alot of another cool content here Xd also 10/10 to make it short.
