It's always the best designs that get sidelined to MSV. I like that assault package way more than the Granza.

The first one reminds me a bit of RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex" Full armor version. And the second one Nadleeh.

It's more like the Full Armor RX-78-2, given the dual cannon on its right arm and the blaster on its shoulder.

The Gundam really looks like a ground mobile suit in that configuration. It doesn't seem to have any thrusters at all and with the sword being positioned at the back and all. I'm interested in knowing just how powerful it is to have reached legendary status and mobile suits back then were supposed to be quite powerful.

My guess is that sword is pretty powerful, maybe has the ability to create a larger beam saber or something. Or maybe have a hacking antenna. I'm letting my imagination do the work here. Curious about what the profile is going to say.

If it has a propulsion system, it might be similar to how the C-Funnels operate, as they have no obvious method of propulsion either, yet can still move in complex manners at high speeds.

It won't need thrusters I think, I'm pretty sure that sword is not just for show.

Seeing how the Vagan propulsion system came from the EXA-DB, it might not need thrusters to fly at all, i mean SID had none we could see.

Except the torso of the Gundam Legilis R isn't that gaudy purple color, it's more of a brownish, burgundy color. The full purple torso in that edited screenshot doesn't look nearly as good.

Perhaps, but that's clearly just a shop of a scene from the anime. Just a recolored Gundam Legilis, and they got the face and torso colors wrong. If it really was an altered scene from the OVA, they'd have removed the gun, shield, and altered the arms and legs.
