got my hands on synapse. I am very underwhelmed. hopefully that 6 forma build will pull through in the end.

akmagnus got some serious buffs. 25% crit and proc chance now. but if the recoil is anything like I imagine, I might stick with my Aklex. in firefights Akvastos and in outright firepower wraith twin vipers. still not sure why I should bother with them other than mastery but eh.

...you loath Nova? What is wrong with you?! Louise is one of the best warframes! Yeah fine she has no bust, but she's got EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE! Molecular Prime is the only thing that keeps a team alive in high level play. My Louise was my fastest warframe to be leveled because of MP spamming.

Yeah she doesn't have much health, but she's fun and win and a pint-sized powerhouse.

Drake's issue with the Nova Warframe is simply that it's a pain in the ass to solo with.

Every Warframe is a pain in the ass to solo the first couple of levels - as a mostly Solo player, I had difficulty with playing my Nyx for example, since she has piss poor shields and health compared to my Rhino or Oberon.

Hence, until you can get your Warframe to say, lvl 5, soloing isn't really recommended if you're not confident you can handle it. That said, having seen Novas in action I can't see how she can't be solo'd.

How to solo with Nova early on?

Grab Energy Siphon(even if it's the wrong polarity), equip null star(maxed if possible), run around while Null Star kills everything in your vicinity. Having a good sentinel also helps.

Nyx I would run either a rifle amp or steel charge aura for polarity matching and add Chaos and Psychic Bolts.

just pay attention to the alerts. unlock some planets and keep yourself posted. it'll come up more often than not.

Well I've gotten lots of helmets, BP's and even Orokin Reactors and Catalysts. So far though, the only Aura Mods I've managed to get from alerts is Sniper Scavenger and Rifle Amp.

On other topics, after fighting the awesome Sargas Ruk on Saturn solo, I thought Tyl Regor on Uranus would be terrifying... then he died no later than 10 seconds after I entered his boss room. Such a pushover.

Goose's guide to Soloing with Louise:

1) Bring your best gun.
2) equip Team Energy Restore or Medium Energy Restore.
3) Equip Energy Siphon.
4) Press 4.
5) Shoot enemies until they explode.
6) Repeat.

As for leveling a new Frame, here's how you do it:

1) Bring your best gun.
2) find an Infested Mobile Defense.
3) Join a pug or get a taxi.
4) Get lots of exp.

Its not that I'm having difficulty using Nova, its just that she's annoyingly defenseless shield wise and when SHTF you can be dropped real easy. Especially if you get caught without energy.

I like to solo with every frame for a while when I first get them so I can get a feel for how they play and how their powers play out and such, but with nova it was a real chore.

DE and RNG are a tease. They offer BPs/resources at the worse of times so you get the urge to buy plat.

So far other than the Prime Warframes, the only one I don't have BPs for is the Saryn.

Maybe it's just me then. the power of Soma compels you.

I'd suggest using infested defense and mobile defense to level, particularly on Corpus maps. Infested targeting priority is for the defense targets, so if you get somewhere they can't go, they'll ignore you for the target, leaving you free to put rounds i to them.

Also, Soma ftw. Louise + Soma = OP. Louise + Vauban = Infested Overkill.

Yeah, Ruk is a cool guy. Unfortunately, he dropped Ember parts, and thus must be farmed.

Though he is one of the better bosses I fought. Salad is just annoying, and most everyone else are pushovers, special mention going to Nef Anyo and Tyl Regor.
