Count me in the camp that he should get together with someone else, ideally Yuasa. But I think she's just a plot device to make Utsumi crave sex. I think Risa will finally get her shot.

I don't expect Yuki to do any chasing after Utsumi. If they're going to get back together sometime in the future, it's going to be Utsumi that again has to do all the work. I also think there's a chance she'll get back together with Touru after they makeup and clear their "misunderstanding".

I doubt Utsumi will get with anyone else. If anything, I think he will go seek out Tohru by himself, settle things and get closure. I have a feeling that this chapter is likely THE catalyst that will convince him that Yuki won't be able to move on without him taking dramatic steps, and that just being Mr Nice/Considerate guy won't cut it.

A few readers are assuming that the eventual Tohru meeting will be by chance, but I think it will be forced.

Unbelievable, this is what you get for trying to be a nice guy. The author is overplaying Yuki's trauma, I'm afraid I no longer feel any sympathy for her.

I'm a virgin and a nice guy, so I can dig Ucchi as a protag. Although I think Yuki is giving up WAYYYY too easy, I don't call her a bitch though. Seriously though if it were me, I wouldn't want it to end like that. Nor however would I want to do it in the fucking school. First time like that has to be intimate, doing it in the school and not have it be spur of the moment just seems dirty to me.

Still yea, I would NOT have let it end like that. But if it was Ucchi had a spine and not stood for that, it wouldn't take the normal shonen mange route would it? Althoug I am not sure exactly where it will go in the short run.

I wouldn't want it to end that way either, but if my gf lets me go after making that kind of request, I really wouldn't think twice about not trying to pursue her again. I would simply go find another girl. What Yuki wanted to do, that's not what a normal couple would do, even she ought to have known that, but if letting me go because of a crazy, effed up request like that was turned down, then trauma or not, something is seriously wrong with her because that's NOT how you deal with past ordeals. Normally I would try to talk her through it, telling her this isn't how she should try to heal yesterday's wounds, but her dumping him clearly shows she doesn't want to listen to him because she's too afraid to.

Yuki is an idiot for accepting Touro's "let's sleep at the gym for our first time" offer. Touro didn't know about the tape so the only "cruel" thing he did was to make he's girlfriend sleep with him in a very dumb and odd place. Which she stupidly accepted.

Anyways I agree with the whole Yuki melodrama has been dragging far too long. Wish Utsumi would tell her to get some help from a psychologist, but since asian countries/culture look down on people that get psychology help guess that isn't an option. Guess having her meet Touro could be a help but it could back fire if she forgives him and wants to get back together after knowing the truth that he's just an idiot who was tricked and pressured by other boys. No actually betrayal happened. Either way too much drama for a teen to handle especially in he's first relationship, personally I would have bailed the fucked out of this whole mess.

Drago's post pretty much sums up my reaction to this chapter. Sheesh, The Shonen Jump Trinity, KNIM, GE, this week has been depressing when it comes to manga. FT is my only saving grace. I think I'll just go read a legitimate ecchi manga to fill the void.
