At least she's got the boobs... although I'm pretty sure quite a bit of photoshop was involved in that. As for the hair, I'm not sure wigs able to compete with Saya's MASSIVE amount of hair even exist.

If you can't find a wig long/thick enough then you start sewing wefts in or you add in the pigtails separately, believe me when I say I've seen much more elaborate ones.
On topic, um, I didn't expect the dog to start talking? XD And I for one am really glad for all the censoring in this episode, even if it was pretty obvious in some scenes, guess the show isn't called blood for nothing!

I agree that the accuracy of the costume is off in several places but come on, hooker-ish shoes? What a mature assessment of mary jane pumps.

I was about to drop this show. I'm glad things got interesting. Anyway for some reason I feel like Saya's town is not real. I mean where are the cops, and how the hell do they clean up the mess?! Feels like Silent Hill to me.

he's definitely him
unmistakeable gaze, even without the spectacles since Spoiler:
is probably one of the finest renditions of a Clamp manga (at the same time sinister, cheerful, cruel, warm), and the tone somewhat matches, I think that any reference/relation would be forgivable. I mean, it's not Kobato (would have been a bit mismatching ) but now we want Spoiler:
we are reminded that every wish has a price, and this time might be quite heavy. lots of "can't say it yet", though. Spoiler:
still disappointing to see that not enough "intermediate" answers are given, anyway. and still weird to see nobody noticing that the girl is walking around with a katana. speaking of Clamp references, the ending enemy felt too Tsubasaish, and Tokizane doesn't freak out enough. hm. might have been better. as a compensation for the mistake, he could soon be a victim too  . the concept of Spoiler:
Spoiler:
talking about Clamp cross-overs, it would be appreciable if this series is going to be used to Spoiler:
highly subjective, but: bad ED sounds bad, and doesn't get any better Last edited by User165949; 2011-08-25 at 17:51. |

What the hell, Blood-C? Four episodes of monotony and foreshadowing, two episodes of actual events, then right back to monotony and foreshadowing as though nothing happened at all? The way they pad this show and draw out the development you'd think they had a full cour.
Seriously, we've seen Saya make suspicious faces at everybody for seven episodes now, but she's yet to act on that suspicion or even probe anyone. Stop eating, follow that teacher home, do something instead of falling back into the rhythm and wandering town in a daze. But I suppose I expect too much of her, she's still wondering if things are a dream as if she still had any reason remaining to be incredulous of anything in her life. I am not impressed that they managed to squander the last two episodes of momentum, then they start trying to add CLAMPverse stuff into a story that's already bogged down enough with what little substance it does have. I feel like the ending to this is going to devolve into a train wreck at this pace. |

lol at using CLAMP as a verb. I like.
Gah, this makes things even more confusing. Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that this is xxxHOLiC's Watanuki. It's CLAMP and they do love their crossovers. If it's Watanuki, it could be a wish from any dimension or any period in time. So whose wish is Watanuki granting? A past/future Tokizane's wish? Watanuki has shown up several times near Tokizane and Saya. That might explain his disproportionate reaction when Saya collapsed. Also, Tokizane makes a move next episode. How bold! But seriously, why was he there? He looked startled by the blood, so maybe not a baddie? But now I'm torn. I don't want him to be a bad guy. Spoiler for Preview pic - Tokizane and Saya:
Speaking of fake/ghost towns, did anyone catch the dilapidated, rusted car?

Nope! Something fishy is going on and at least they're honest about what they want.
Besides, if you believe them (and I think I do), they made a deal with someone (the humans?) and they've been sticking to their end of it.

Hm, Elder Bairn today had a normal human, Tokizane-like face... I thought it was him when I first saw it...
So... Can I guess it is a "bet" between Saya and Fumito to see if, being put in a completely different environment, Saya would have the same inner self, the same personality... Just wild guessing here... But seeing Watainuki today, I am expecting even a plot like this: "Fumito is Solomon and he is trying to change Saya's love to him, pushing Haji=Tokizane away. Both of them can't use their original bodies for the same reason Watanuki is now Watainuki." Yes, I've played umineko, weird theories are the best, ever. |
