Did Haganai start the popular trend of butterfly hairclips or did someone prominent use them before that somewhere?

Don't you see his ecstatic expression? It's just normal- SM play between siblings.

Random placement probably, since it is not related to actual character height or plot importance.

Butterfly clips (especially when the butterflies had glitter on their wings!) were a huge, huge, huge trend in the 90s (link). Maybe it's a throwback to that?

I still have a huge collection of those things somewhere . . .

The effect for iron blood looks good.

I've only read the manga up to the point where they're at Dominca's house. Any word on how long the adaptation is going to be?

Hrm... Well, after reading all the posts up to now I really could not get much of an idea what the story was about, so I went and read chapters 0 and 1 of the manga.

The story is a fantasy world style setting, but the feel of it all reminds me a LOT of the feel of the first 5 or 6 eps of Tokyo Ravens for some reason. Nothing really jumped off the pages to especially catch my interest, but I guess I will give it a try. ^^

^ Bones can always take it easy and adapt the first three volumes of the light novel, effectively going beyond the current arc in the manga. If they try to cover as much material as possible with those 12 episodes or go full original then yeah, things can turn rather...unacceptable.

Gotta love the surge of new material.

Well, not a lot of "new" in the CM other than a bit of footage and Chaika talking. Her CV really nailed it.

Now this one is most curious... A girl always carrying a coffin around? Does she happen to be a vampire or something?
Or is that coffin just to stow away all her heavy artillery we see in the PV, because smaller carrying options (like the often used violin case) would be simply too small for that?

I'm curious too and also assume its for her artillery. I'm adding to my watch list jus because she has me curious with the carrying a coffin around.

probably if we judge it based on the preview. I'm not familiar with the novel so I don't know but from what the pv shown. its a heavy artillery weapon that won't fit in violin cases.
