And I just noticed....The opening Battler doesn't have so big eyes.
Yeah, though I still have to delete the german "Beatrice" out of my head (works fine atm) and the nickname "Beato" with the beat spoken as... in the english beat (works not that well). I NEEDZ MY BEAT RICE!!!! But the other names are really easy to pronounce for us imho. (Bernkastel for example hurrdurr and the japanese syllables aren't too difficult if you keep in mind the few differences)

The anime.. well.. it's really nice to see how they'll adapt it, but for me: EP 5 excitement >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Anime excitement

How I wish I have access to Japanese TV right now. Our cable only has NHK World.

is it me, or does it seem like the closer we get to Umineko airing, the slower time passes?

BTW now that the actual episode airs in barely a few hours (I'm on +8 GMT), shouldn't we like agree on how to differentiate anime episodes from game episodes so as not to create confusion in episode threads?

wasn't there a agreement about that?

Episode refers to game episode
and episode to an anime episode

Not sure though

No. It works like this.

EP1-1
EP1-2
EP1-3
EP1-4
EP1-5
EP2-1
EP2-2

and so on...
Note: Capital 'E' is not necessary in this case...

well if you look at Klashikari's topic about rules

http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=82562

He established that Episode refers to a game Episode and episode refers to an anime episode.

I saw a list of episodes on the anime news network and they went episode 1-1, episode 1-2, and so on. Why not just do that?

Both are fine as long as you are clear on what you are talking about. Consensus isn't a mandatory anyway.
My problem with Episode X-X is that it might be a problem with fansubs at some point, or how the anime is actually listing the title of each episodes.

Personally I think the "game episode - anime episode" referral is better. Using differences in capitalization is poor nomenclature and could still be confusing.
