scar Akai was merely a disguise by the BO to gauge the reaction of Akai's allies to make sure that he was dead.

What if Kaitou Kid wasn't on the train? Ridiculous. His involvement was the worst part of the arc itself. Did they suddenly improvise the plan once Conan realized the woman was Kaitou?

Anyway, it seems Gosho will stray away from plot yet again, I'm hoping for a bit of details on Sera's involvement. And where is the Sera - Haibara confrontation Gosho promised us? Next issue better have a new plot-related arc.

I doubt much would change. Yukiko was probably going to take the role of Haibara originally. By having Kaitou Kid do it, she could keep Vermouth occupied and possibly find out more about what the BO had planned. It would make it seem more legitimate as well that they "killed" Ai.

sheesh bro his involvement wasnt necessary it was a bonus. vermouth said the answer she said clearly in the chapter before yukiko was originally gonna be haibara after all the only way they could pretend that it was sherry was too imitate voices and the only people who can do that successfully is vermouth yukiko and kaitou kid. (ironically vermouth and yukiko learned it from kaitou kids father)

I agree with that. My theory is that, one day, Bourbon will switch sides and join Conan; or at the very least, he will betray the Black Organization somehow. Right now, this theory is completely baseless though.

its not completely baseless poisui remember vermouth has essentially been betraying the organization and the fact that bourbon wants to bring sherry back instead of kill her means nobody knows whats on his mind it will be interesting. Hm u know i just had a fun thought we need a case where conan is a suspect and they have to take his DNA and when megure takes the DNA he sees its Kudo and freaks out.

I am still undecided as to whether Amuro is a bad guy or a "kinda" bad guy. He doesn't mind using unethical methods into solving a crime, like in Chapter 800 (or there abouts) he let Conan go alone with the murder suspect, any normal good willed Detective would not have let Conan go by himself with the suspect.

I think his hate for Akai overrules any order he gets from the BO. I still believe he knew the connection between Shiho and Akai from way back when and wanted to use Shiho as bait to lure him out. No evidence to support this though, but I think the fact that he wanted Shiho alive is pretty odd.

As for Chapter 825.

Apart from Akai, Amuro is probably my favourite character right now. There's a lot about him that's still a mystery, and I can't wait to find out his true allegiances.

They both roamed around and watched how the FBI and some of Real!Akai's acquaintances would react. Since Jodie was fraught with grief, that confirmed their theory that Real!Akai was dead. Vermouth got the idea of a scar on the side of the face to give plausibility to the idea that Real!Akai survived the explosion. 2. Subaru is most likely Real!Akai, though he probably doesn't have any scar, as ch.824 has shown. 3. In this arc, Scar!Akai was Vermouth in disguise (in the previous arcs, it was either her or Bourbon). She captured Sera and left her in a secluded room before being contacted by Yukiko. 4. Subaru/Real!Akai entered the place where Sera had been left and relocated her to a different carriage, thus momentarily getting her out of the BO's reach. 5.
