Indeed she was. At least Galil was normal. And speaks Kyoto-ben IMO.

Looks like the jungle wargame arc gets resolved next week. And some material before the wargames aren't seen.

Perhaps later on?

Wild Goose mentioned this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in Page 9 (and for us in the manga section, for the curious) that SAKO gets off on violence. Literally. And yeah, "that scene" was actually shown in the manga too.

I wonder what types of material will be adopted since Xebec removed some and added a few (the 16 vs AUG/T shootout isn't bad)? But I hope it does end with Shizuoka at least.

Well, that episode was certainly more serious than the stuff we've seen so far. Especially the violence. I'm now curious as to EXACTLY how much it takes to "kill" one of the guns. Or if they can die at all.

The answer to that question was hinted to in the manga, and if things continue as they are, should be shown in the show next week too.

now... what WOULD happen if the once commonly used FAL meets the hardy AK47.

also, M14.... you so funny.

and AUG... no offense... but you take too long to clean and as with all bullpups I held, the "WTF where is the usual place?!" notion whenever you are field stripped.

Damn you Xebec for making me follow a show about moe anthropomorphizations of assault rifles that isn't even ecchi! At least not until episode 5. I had to keep watching after episode 3 to see RK somewhere

Of course I have to say that Finland represent! Obviously the mangaka wanted to go with the sexier RK 95, rather than the good old RK 62. Only gripe I have with the design of RK 95 (I'm not a gun buff, really) is the magazine. They should've made it more curved to make it more in line with AK.
Spoiler for Upotte RK 95:

RK 62 in all its glory, field stripped. Good times with weapons as a conscript in the Finnish Defence Forces.
Spoiler for RK 62 field stripped:

No idea why the Finnish forest elf assault rifle is a psychopathic sadist All is well if she's a lesbian too

People warned about SAKO being crazy well she definitely is. Didn't expected Funko go down so fast. though all these tricks with guns are interesting to watch (I'm complete newbie when it comes to guns). Imo this show has more on the plot side than Zombie of the dead and Nyaruko and sadly less fanservice. Now I have sleepless nights just to find out which part did Sig got shot of.

I hope show won't shoot itself in the foot I doubt there are many Gun geeks who cares about moe girls and otherway around.

Question to enlightened which "Cal" Sig refered as her partner?

Considering how many people are in this thread knowledgeable and/or enthusiastic about firearms in general....

I got interested in the first place because it combined moe girls and guns. The fact that it's edutainment also helps

I think Steyr AUG appeared on the first episode. The one with the Boyish short haired with glasses. O_o
The part where they were at the shooting range.

Can anyone post a screenshot of that scene?

Half-feeding...bane of all fire fights.

I wonder...is the side button on the M-16 more useful for rectifying or the standard remove mag and pull the charging handle better...

BTW, that's some brutal shooting....shooting off stock = blasting underwear off into the tree branches

now I see not the A1 but the A3.

I wonder if the OC/OTS-14 Groza makes an appearance along with G36.

also, can anyone tell me if the G36 is considered as a power rifle of sorts?

To be precise...they are guns what do you think? Killing a tool = destroying it.

So logically.....yeah

They are not only just 'guns' but also the gun models.
A certain gun/girl in the show seems to stand for the type of gun in general.

They remember what happened to the type of gun over its history.
They are not one specific gun out of thousands of copies that came out of a factory last week, they are all of them.

Makes them a bit of a transient being, which should not be able to get killed so easily, as long as there is still a type of this gun left on the planet.

So, to the people who know about guns here, is Sako's "turned-on-by-violence" thing referencing anything gun-related? Or did they just add that in randomly?
