(L) Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children COMPLETE

Might as well start this thread, since the old one seems dead.

Anyway, just watched it last night and I gotta say... there were a lot more extra scenes than I expected.

I was under the impression that it would just be a bit more action in it and that's all. There were quite a few interesting flashbacks, although one of them was just a direct clip from Crisis Core's ending. If you have eagle eyes you'll notice some subtle differences in the reused part, one that's easily noticeable is that they don't retain perfectly clean unscratched faces after/during fights

Oh, and did anyone notice the REALLY COOL sounds coming from Sephiroth's Masamune every time he swings it? THIS was a really cool extra that the original movie didn't have

I enjoyed ACC. It's much better than the original because the additional scenes connect the original scenes much better. There were even different choices of music for some scenes and more sound effects. Overall, SE should have released the first movie as this one, then it wouldn't have been looked down upon as much. It went from a stupid videogame, action, CG movie to a good CG movie with some story and action that makes more sense.

Cloud's Omislash got countered high time and he has to come up with the enchanced version on the fly not to mention I love the surprised look of Sephy when Cloud sword split up.

Oh so it WAS the original Omnislash!... well, he attempted it. I was wondering if was or not, the first time I watched it. I guess it didn't really need a second thought, the mid-air virtical slash should've pretty confirmed it.

I had the feeling that it was the same kinda cover in most places, apart from a few

Well, i'll be happy to see a story, since the first version never got one in the first place.

I'm betting on this film, looks like they did a pretty good job in making it better.

That's the original one that was released in 2005, the one we're talkng about is the remake that only came out last week. Essentially its the same movie but with some extra scenes.
Search 'advent children complete' on youtube and you'll see some trailers.
