If we assume the same timeframe for release as Xillia 1, which was announced July 6th (HRMMM), 2012, then we're likely looking at Summer 2014 for Xillia 2. Not too bad.

Well, they obviously won't be a pre-order bonus. We get the same pre-order bonus that Japan gets, which was Yuri!Jude, Asbel!Milla, and Emil!Ludger. We might get the Madoka costumes on the PSN, but I wouldn't suggest holding your breath. Honestly, they're the only reason I imported it, since I figure there's a 3% chance at best of getting them here.

Very nice news indeed. So glad they're pushing to get more tales games over.

And I've been stuck in the middle of my Xillia 2 playthrough for the longest time, so I think I'll just wait for this instead. Would also be great if they decide to incorporate dual audio (yay!) like symphonia HD is doing, and unlock Ludger's voice from the start as a bonus.

Doubtful on both counts. It'd be beyond weird to have dual audio in X2 and not X1, so unless they change course and add it to X1, don't expect it. And unlock Ludger's voice doesn't do much, but it would involve having to recode stuff, so that's more than I'd expect them to do.

They might give japanese voice over as paid dlc after launch if the new symphonia sells well. It's BanNam after all, they're always looking for more money from extras

Probably Asbel's costume for Grace F file and Cless/Yuri or 1st game costume for TOX file. (All of them are already present as free DLC)

It's Bamco here, they would not give paid-DLC costume just for free

Save files for PS3 has always been tied to an account. Nowadays, it's easy to work around it using free save editor though.

The practice of using DLC in Xillia is not locked by account. You need the correct region just to get the stuff from store.

It'll be the same as the Japanese version. Xillia 1 pre-order bonus is Stahn/Cless costumes for Milla/Jude. Xillia 2 pre-order bonus is Asbel/Yuri costumes for Jude. The bonus for having Tales of Graces game-clear data is a Sophie plushie attachment. Bonus for Milla side Xillia game-clear data is a Milla plushie attachment. Bonus for Jude side Xillia game-clear data is a Jude plushie attachment. It might be that having either side cleared will net both, I do not recall, but it isn't costumes.
