What do you guys think it is? Now they might be talking about the Madoka Novel, but who thinks it might be something else? Maybe an OVA series based on one of the manga spin-offs?
Probably something like:
Rebuild of Madoka Magica 1.0: Teatime with Mami (all about Mami) 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Rebuild of Madoka Magica 2.0: You are not Alone (all about Homura) 2 hours.
Rebuild of Madoka Magica 3.0: Sweets (Kyoko) 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Rebuild of Madoka Magica 3.5: Idealism and Despair (Sayaka) 1 hour and 30 minutes.

I'm willing to donate more than $5 if they include Kyoko.
If you don't like it.... can I have the poster XD... if not... can you get someone not interested to get me the poster (so he can give it to me without a problem XD)?

Has anyone come across the 216-page Madoka book I posted a while back?

There's also the obvious problem of how they'd depict the things not even the VN fully show (ie. what exactly the monsters look like, what Saya herself looks like, etc.). It's certainly not impossible to do, but it takes away some of the magic if you shine a light on those horrors.

So Otakon is just in two days, and Aniplex will be showing a live screening featuring the first three episodes of Madoka (subtitled) before a Q&A session. I wonder what the reaction is gonna be like for all these Madoka newbies coming in

It'll be even better if they use the DVD/BD version of the episodes rather than the air versions. After all, they added a horribly misleading cutesy ending to ep1 and 2 that makes you think it's a standard happy go lucky show (even more flowery than the OP).

So i just watched Ep.7 of the BDs raw, and holy mother of god, they almost completely reanimated Sayaka's fight scene with Elsa, and its awesome. The BD version looks a lot smoother, the choreography is much better, and that small touch of blood and gore makes the scene even more creepier

Just found a video that compares the TV and BD versions, for those who want to have an early look, as there are no subs for the BDs as of yet.

Yeah,up until now I liked the changes overall but there was nothing that "wowed" me,until that scene.I really can't go back to the TV version anymore

I'd like to see someone aim a video camera at the audience as they watch that episode at Otakon.

Okay, some good news: As a result of an organizers' policy change, PMMM-themed garage figurines took over this year's Wonderfes:

Bad news: because of some artist group ripping off pics, hundreds have angrily walked out of Pixiv, moving out to other sites: http://4NN.cx/67311

I want a Saya no Uta anime. Very much. For the guro, they can always try using discordant blurriness to make it look creepy. It doesn't necessarily need to be full-blown gore 24/7.

Freaking awesome. So long as they don't pull some bullheaded stunt, this is looking great.

In fact, thinking this over more, and seeing the bonus stuff in the OreImo boxset, I'm wondering if this bodes well for the CD Dramas getting dubbed and included.

Let's just hope they confirm they will release Madoka in Blu-ray format as well.

>magical witch girls

O boy, Aniplex better fix that before people get unintentionally spoiled.

I think they might have translated "mahou shoujo" to "magical witch girls" so that the final Wham Line by Kyubey (about majo and mahou shoujo) in Episode 8 would work in English.

I see, that could by why. Will "witches" still be called witches though? I can't think of another name for "witches" so I would assume so.

But still have a problem with it, if they rename "magical girls" into "magical witch girls", I think it would make it far too easy for a newcomer to make the connection that magical girls turn into witches.

I know we've predicted this since the beginning, but it wasn't exactly spelled out to us. "Magical witch girls", I dunno, to me it looks like a spoiler.
